I'm sure this has been asked before but, does the coloplast stay flat on the top and bottom of your penis forever.I've had this implant a long and it never rounded out like a normal penis. It seems very strange and looks terrible.
Thanks for any help.

If all the fluid has been squeezed out of the tubes, what you'll have is a flat penis. The area where the tubes are now was once filled with spongy tissue, keeping both tubes round. I've found putting a couple of pumps in the implant makes my penis look and feel more normal.

If someone's surgery was tissue-saving then the spongy tissue in the penile shaft was just pushed to the sides, not removed. Therefore, is it reasonable to expect that tissue to eventually "fill out" the flat side(s) of the shaft?

I assume you are referring to the wider than normal shape of the implanted dick, right? That's unavoidable due to the cylindrical shape of the implants. I did an illustration once about the difference in shape between the normal corpus cavernosum and the implant and how they fill out and effect the shape of the erect penis. Below is a rough example of the difference between an erect normal penis and an inflated implanted penis. I am not a doctor but this is a representation as I understand the differences.

Please forgive my redundancy but I would like to see some responses to my question...

First of all, when people complain their dick is flat, not round as before, what does that really mean..?
When is "before"?
Day before implant on Viagra, or day before ED?

A normal erection, completely without any other aid than a naked woman, or helped by Viagra, normally fills out both the cavernosum and the spongiosum. Hence your dick is round. And your glans is nice and full.
If you just inflate your implanted dick, and is not even turned on - the only thing that will fill up is the cylinders inside the cavernosum. Hence you are oval, because you miss out on the rounding effect of the spongiosum.

What if you are aroused? Well, then it depends on the ability for your spongiosum to fill up and stay filled.
If that ability was lost together with your cavernosum erectional ability, then you are doomed to have a flat erection.
That is not really the fault of the implant, the implant was never supposed to fill up the spongiosum.
That is the fault of your ED.
Without the implant you wouldn't have shit.
Now at least you have a hard dick from the cavernosum cylinders.
The flatness due to a non-working spongiosum is just something you have to accept. You lost it due to ED, not due to the implant.

Then of course, some get lucky and maintain their spongiosum capacity.
I did. When I inflated my dick without any blood flow, it looks not nearly as good as it does when I am horny.
Flat, small glans.
But when aroused, it gets round and my head grows and hardens.
Huge difference.

I’m three months out and still won’t engorge, head or shaft even when I’m turned on.I occasionally use my VED and rings and it fully engorges. My wife loves it.I only use this for the thirty minute recommended time! You might try it.
