Questions on First Sexual Intercourse with an implant

Being about a week away from being cleared for sex, I am both excited and sceptic about this moment.
Previously, I saw some post here of members who had excellent experiences, and other who didn't. I do not want for my wife and I to be upset. This will be a drawback for me.
1. I am wondering if the negative experience is related to pain or being sore. If so, would wearing a condom or using lube, reduce the friction?
2. For those who encountered such an issue, how soon could they try again?
I would love to hear from both
&
.
Thank you

My greatest problem to having sex the first few times was in having forgotten how. I had, after decades of E.D. did not have confidence in my ability to maneuver my erection.
As far as lubrication is concerned, I make sure my partner is well-lubricated. Decades of E.D. prompted me to become skilled at cunnilingus, so inducing my partner to have at least one orgasm gets her wet enough.
Post-operative pain was not a concern. It was 8 weeks after surgery before first attempt. I was well-healed by then.

I have the same inplant as you. My first experience wasn’t the best but I think it was similar to your “first time”. It was awkward. We tried foreplay as any couple would but the natural arousal is no longer an option for you; you will have to pump. Once you have pumped you can go for a long time. I didn’t have pain and I followed my Drs instructions to the letter.
My advise is for you to get familiar with the pump and once cleared you might even try to learn to pump with one hand. Don’t get frustrated and practice. Then practice a little more even if alone. You have gone through the hardest part already so this is just a test run and familiarization. Best of luck!

AST2123,
Lost Sheep is 100%, as it pertains to lube.
When I started. I wasn't real sure how much to pump the implant up to. As we progressed and she started to produce more moisture, sex became so much more "fun" again. Now,1.5 years after surgery, she insists that I pump as much as possible, the harder the better!
Ejaculating the first few times was a whole new feeling. We quickly learned that after I went, we could continue and she now has more orgasms that when we were newly weds.
Enjoy the ride, communicate, and be patient...with your partner AND yourself.

I also had Peronie's that was corrected 18 years ago.
Thanks Andy1955!

To add to LS very good post, Like riding a bicycle you never really forget. You just need to need more seat time. I am not married but I was happy to get back at it again and have fun. So you could tell your wife you are a little out of practice and will need a lot of time in the saddle.
As far is lube it depends on the women. Some have dryness and need lube. Others don't. Oral helps a lot. And saliva is good also. Just a fair amount in your hand and rub on your glans just prior to entry. Lot of porn guys use that.
But the main thing is you just rid yourself of that worry of not getting an erection. No need to replace it with other worries. Just get in there and have fun.

I don't think it could have been said better than what newbie443 wrote.
A bit of pain for my first time, but after not having penetrative sex for months it was such a good feeling. Lube does help.
