Implant pointing sideways

Postby Rise again » Tue Feb 23, 2021 6:55 pm

I'm now three weeks post op, ever since the day of surgery i was left partially inflated and implant pointed pretty much sideways to the left. Started inflating yesterday for the first time and implant still points about 20 - 30 degrees to the left when inflated. Did anyone else experience this? Did it improve with cycling and time? I had hoped that once i started inflating it would point straight. My penis has never had an angle to it before so i don't see why it should after the implant.

Have you talked to your doctor about this? What device did you have implanted? Who was your surgeon. Does he/she do revisions?

You might want to create a signature like a lot of us have so you don't have to type the info every time you have a question.

I had this and it really needs to be addressed by a doctor who will do a proper examination and maybe imaging. Could be a number of things and you need to see a really good doctor about it.

Yeah, updated my signature.

I contacted my doctor who said to inflate and then pull to the side to try and correct the angle. Was just looking for some reassurance from others here.

mine did veer to the left slightly. When inflating I would pull it to the right and now it is mostly corrected. You wont hurt anything by doing this.

Some problems are pretty limited on causes and are really more common. So they are easy to help with. I can think of at least 4 or 5 causes for this and this is something really difficult to help a lot with on a forum. Several of the causes can self correct and I have read good reports on this site for your doctor. And you are early in this. So just give it some time and follow your doctors instructions. It may resolve or improve to be a non issue. Your doctor will be your best aid on this so do what you can to keep your doctor wanting to help you.

Keep asking questions as there are a lot the members here that can help you with a lot of things you may have a bit of trouble with. And let us know how it goes with this problem. Welcome to the brotherhood and nothing but good wishes for you going forward with this.
