Hi,

If you had a successful implant done by someone in Austin, please either post or PM me with the surgeon's name. My current urology practice has one that has performed over 600 implants and he's probably only in his early 45's, so that's a pretty good rate.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the site. Best thing to do is to use the search box in the upper right and put in your doctors name. That will get you a lot of info going back from members no longer checking in on this board. You can also do a web search to see if your doctor has any negative reviews. And Health Grades has a lot of info. Also look for any publications your doctor may be listed on and if they pertain to implants. You can also search this site for Austin. Some do a lot of research on the doctor and others don't do any. I like Health Grades but it takes a bit of work and time to figure out.

Best of luck going forward with this.

Something to remember is when looking at reviews for anything online, people are much more likely to post a bad review then good review.

Affer researching and talking with a couple of surgeons I made the trip from Austin to Houston. I decided on Jonathan Clavell M.D. in Houston and he did a great job. If I had to do it again I would use Clavell all over again. Search his name on FT.
