With your implant surgery,
1. How long were you off work for?
2. How long before you resumed regular every day activities? ( cut grass, shoveled snow, lifting, etc)?
3. Bonus question: If your insurance initially said "no" to an implant, Upon Appeal did you get it approved ?
how long off work? Insurance question.
Re: how long off work? Insurance question.
I was off two weeks but could have returned to the office (gingerly) after one week. At three days I was going out to get fast food and at 6 days I attended a group get-together at a local burger restaurant with a social group I was in.
My IPP surgery was not rejected on first attempt but I believe it was successful the first time out because the doctor included severe Peyronie's plaque, scarring, curvature and hourglass deformity on his diagnosis and reason for implant necessity. PD was the one reason my employer's policy allowed for automatic approval due to PD being DAMAGE rather than atrophy and IPP implantation is the gold standard for resolution of PD.

Really depends on what kind of work you do.
I am a fireman and do construction on my days off. My surgery was February 22 and today is my first day back.
Glad I took off that long. It has been a little rough for me.
Felt pretty good after the second week though.
When I called the insurance company, they said it was not covered, but the doctors office had no problem getting it approved.
