several months ago my AMS failed after 2 years. they did the revision yesterday.
My doc went from the 18 to the 21 - -but went from 3 spacers to 2.
Lets hope this works - im sick of being a UNIK...
I forgot to ask, on a revision -how long until you start cycling it. The stitch area is different this time - -and there was an additional incision near my belly button to remove the reservoir

So you went from 21cm total to 23cm total. That is a good increase for 2 years.
From what I understand removing the reservoir is difficult and some doctors leave the first one and just add the new one on the other side. I even watched a video by the surgeon that did my first one and it seems to have to do with a blood vessel that can be torn or opened up with the removal. He had this happen and had to go in and repair the break. So your doctor may get around this with the second incision. There was also a thread on a surgeon using an Infrapubic incision to change out a previous Penoscrotal implant. Some doctors use 2 incisions for Infrapubic and some use 1. So doctors do vary a fair bit on this.
Best of luck to you and I hope you heal fast and have many wonderful years with this one.

I cant figure out why they took out an LGX and replaced it with a CX.

I was told the LGX 21cm has problems by a well known NY doctor. They do not make anything bigger in the LGX. So it seems the 21cm LGX is right at it's limits. The NY doctor said that for 21cm a CX or Titan is what he uses. Your doctor seems to follow this opinion also.
