Newly implanted/penis position

Hey I was newly implanted on 4-12 by Dr Lentz at Duke Raleigh hospital with Titan Touch. I am on day 8 post op. I kept the penis up towards the belly button after the dressing came off on day 2 like instructed. Now I have no pain or problem when it is facing upwards but when I try and place it hanging down, it is uncomfortable and really sticks out and has some pain in the scrotum due to being partially inflated. I have to go to an appointment on Friday, post op day 11 and was wondering whether others just practice with it being down and semi rigid before putting jeans on or what y’all could suggest? Also I had right much pain on post op day 5-6, but that had gotten lots better since those 3 days. I also had a previous hydrocele surgery and Dr Lentz stated that he ran into some scar tissue and it caused my surgery to run longer than anticipated. Still feel some pain in the stitches, but the area is clean and dry and no signs of infection. Thanks for any info y’all could provide.

Welcome to the site. My doctor and his discharge instructions were different from yours and advised no need to tape or point my penis up. So I will let others who had this with a doctor help you. My doctor had out of area men cleared to travel home on day 4 post op but I stayed 2 extra days for better rates and what I thought would be more time to heal and less pain for the plane ride home. But I did have as you wrote increased discomfort following day 4 and it did resolve as yours did.

Welcome to the brotherhood friend. Rest up and heal fast.

And my doctor was insistent that my penis be pointed up, towards my belly button for the first 2 weeks. Which I did, and have had no complications.

I was also instructed to keep mine pointing up for several weeks. And just like you it was very uncomfortable 2 point it in any other direction until at least after 3 weeks
.
With the Titan, you will always be bigger and more rigid in your flaccid state for now on but it will likely settle down a little. I'm 8 weeks post-op and just beginning to get used to the size/rigid and how to adjust it in jeans and shorts. For now perhaps thick Dockers work shorts will help hide it. Or just leave it in the up position. I used surgical underwear and gauze to hold it that way.

Hope that helps.

I used the jock strap for my Titan implant but hurt because the strap was below my glans, Dr. Lentz did my implant also. Good choice of your doctor! :D
