Implanted with Coloplast Titan and pump on 4/9. Pump makes whoosing sound and cylinders wont inflate. What do I do? I successfully inflated multiple times since 4/12.

Sounds like your valve is in an intermediate position. Not in the inflate position and not in the deflate position. Try deflating fully (and pressing the valve body to set the valve to deflate) and vigorously inflate (just a couple of squeezes should do).
If that does not work and no actual Coloplast user responds, call the Coloplast Patient Liaison. This is the sort of thing they are there for, to assist patients without having to bother the surgeons (who are expert at putting them in, but not necessarily operating or troubleshooting them).

It happened to me.
Try pressing the inflate bulb 3 times, firmly. Then quickly press the release button, 3 times. repeat if necessary to free up the valve.

Try pressing the deflate button and holding it depressed while pumping 3 to 4 times at the same time. This should reset the valve and allow you to inflate.
Good Luck!

Implanted on 4/9 as well. I have pumped a few times, but I don’t hear the sound like my first implant. Can you feel the entire pump?

Side note, I did not find coloplast customer service to be of any help. Anytime I called. When you ask questions and they are looking it up that tells you something. Especially if they give bs responses . Like talk to your Dr. The last rep did not even know coloplast had a warranty.

Dear Wun,
I think I can make a contribution here. First off, it’s not clear what product you have. The Titan is offered with two different pumps, at least up to recent times. Also, at this time, the product configuration is different from 22 cm cylinders and down. Above 22 cm, connections on the tubing must be made in surgery.
Further info in your signature may elicit additional helpful information about what is up with your situation.
In any event, you described a noise when you pump and I am increasingly of the opinion that this indicates a system leak. Shortly after my implant surgery, I observed a whooshing noise as I pumped. Long story short, and after three years of good performance, the system had a leak. My new implant pump is silent.
Your implant is brand new, and I would stand on the surgeon’s head to get him to have a look. It sounds like a leak.
My two cents.
Mike

The coloplast genesis pump makes a metallic swishing sound. Which was normal. I heard the same sound on my 1st pump 1 day post op. Once my reservoir tubing snapped, the pump would just get stuck like a swished tennis ball.
