Correlation between covid and ED

A new WebMD article reports that coronavirus infections damages blood vessels, including in the penis which can lead to impotence. This news should capture the attention of vax-resistant men!

Thank you, Dave, from bringing attention to this!
I'm not directly affected, since I'm fully vaccinated and also already have an inflatable penile implant (as of four days ago), but I still found the article an interesting read.
Here's a link to the article:

The Corona virus does affect blood vessels, however, taking this “vaccine” is a totally different discussion.

I've had the first Moderna shot. Not quite as bad as a tetanus shot. I'm a poster child for getting covid. Age & health conditions. I have a good PCP. Last blood test he said I didn't have Covid antibodies.
I did hear about the possible ED connection. Sad to hear it. My guess is that it must cause some scarring and/or fibrosis type damage as a reaction to clotting. I thought a bit on if it might lead to some ED breakthroughs. But just guessing that any work in that direction will be likely completed after my death.
So......I'm thinking that in my case. An implant is still the best solution. Hoping for late this summer.

We all react differently to drugs, etc. My first Moderna shot convinced me that I WILL NOT get the second one. I got my shot at 9:30 am. By early afternoon, the ache from the shot spread across my shoulders to my other arm. An hour or so late, I had chills and a fever that grew to 101.5. That evening more chills. Overnight I was hot, no chills. The next day I slept under a cover most of the day. Fever only dropped to 101.
That night I had a vivid delusion. I was under my covers trying to complete work--I NEVER take work home. I got so frustrated with it, that I got up, took my covers to the living room only to find no work. I went back to bed, but had to get up to go to piss. I was so unbalanced that I had to use the furniture and doorways to go there--five times. When I got back to bed, I had the same nightmare all over again. I got about an hours sleep. That morning I had diarrhea--three more trips to the bathroom.
That did end it. Both the attack and the second shot. I told my PCP and he had no real answer for me.
All the current vaccines are NOT FDA approved...just an emergency use approval. We are all guinea pigs in this thing.

Ken,
My wife just had the sore arm from the first Moderna. However with the 2nd one her reaction was more like your first one. It put her down for 2 days. Sick as a dog. I also have had both Moderna shots. A sore arm with the first and a bit more of a sore arm with the 2nd. I may have had some other ill effects but nothing that stood out from the average crappy day that comes along every so often. I guess there's no predicting your reaction. I wonder if your 1st reaction is a predictor of what your second shot reaction would be? It certainly wasn't for my wife as I'd rate her first shot reaction as good and the second as very bad. For me I guess they were both basically OK. I got mine a couple of months before her as I'm older and rated for being in the early batch.

KenJ1947, luckily your 1 Moderna shot will give you some protection against COVID now. Hopefully enough to protect the people around you. You had a sore arm, a fever, and diarrhea. Still a LOT better than respiratory failure, intubation, pulmonary fibrosis, and death.
The vaccines in use do have FDA approval. Approval for emergency use is still approval. I’d rather be a guinea pig for the vaccine than a pig to the slaughter for COVID.
I try to be nice in all situations. I like the community of men here and want to get along with everyone. But I have no patience for anti-vaxx bullshit. Millions of people have been killed world wide and over a half million in the USA. The miracle of medical science has found a solution that only works if we work together and get vaccinated. If we fuck around long enough a variant that is NOT responsive to the vaccine may break through and then we will all be screwed. The clock is ticking.

Vaxed, x 2, Herd immunity only happens when 70 % get vaxed, Drs do it for peet sakes, its not political, sad that it has been made way.

My wife had zero reaction to either her first or second Pfizer shot. I had no reaction to the first, but felt bad for a couple of hours on the day after my second shot. We have friends who had no, moderate and one bad reaction. We are all different, but that doesn't mean we should hide from vaccines. They do far more good than harm, and when you consider that death is a real possibility if you get infected it seems prudent to get in line and take your medicine like a big boy.
