First few days post surgery and toddler children

My implant date is June 18 on a Friday. That weekend is Father's Day weekend and so I am supposed to have my 1yo daughter all weekend. She constantly requires me holding her and being on my lap which means a lot of accidental knees and kicks to my midsection.
Should I try to wear a cup when I have her? Will I be ok lol? Rescheduling time w my STBX is not as easy as one assumes.

Idk man that’s tough. I’m 7 days out and can’t imagine doing that but definitely not in the first couple days. Good luck

If your doctor sends you home partially inflated like mine did, I can't see a way to get it into a cup. You will probably be told to wear your dick in the up position for a while anyway. You very well may be in bed most of the weekend and maybe taking painkillers. The timing for this is a tough one. I couldn't have done it.

You'll probably be under instructions to not lift more than 5 pounds ..... You could really hurt yourself! Even with difficulty, you should probably think of rescheduling.
Good luck man!

I had a weight lifting restriction of 10 pounds. And you really need to lay as flat as you can and use ice packs for the first few days. I really don't see a way to care for a toddler in the first few days after surgery.

I think you should try to reschedule your toddler visit ... IMHO you will be in no condition to be holding a squirming child in your lap for at least a week after surgery.

If you question the advice you have gotten so far, ask your surgeon this same question.
In the first days after surgery, most of us were in no condition to take care of ourselves, much less another person and FAR much less a child too young to (for example) prepare a meal on a stove.

I think you're look at damaging and injuring yourself further. I was implant 11 days ago and it wasn't fun for the 1st 8 days. My weight limit is 10 lbs for a minimum of 6 weeks (exceeded it will put a strain on stitches and force fluids into areas that are trying to evacuate). Add in constipation along with extreme sensitively, and seeing your daughter in those conditions won't be pleasant for her and you. It would be nice to have a parent or friend to help you with the visit. Best of Luck.

Reschedule the toddler weekend!
You will be doped up on the day of the surgery!
You can forget that day. You will be out for approx. 4 hours, and after that, yes, partially inflated, woozy, sleepy, and dopey! Oh, forgot, you will more than likely have a catheter for a day (explain that to a kid, lol).
Yeah, 10 pounds is your limit. but having a toddler around, no matter how much love there is, will definitely be out! You need a sitter!
You will more than likely want to walk around nekkid for the next couple of days.
For me, I took 10 days off of work. Sitting was my biggest problem.
All you are going to want to do is eat fast food once your appetite returns. you will not have the patience (or strength) for doing anything
Unless you are getting a 2 piece, which is a malleable, you will recover quickly. Otherwise, nah dude, you are a good father, but this situation will MAKE you have your limits.
I stayed with a friend after my surgery. He was dog sitting...70lbs....paw landed on dick...not a good feeling. He just pushed off my dick when he was getting up the run to something.

I decided that I will spend that weekend at my parents house. They think I am having knee surgery so they will understand me being MIA in an upstairs bedroom all weekend while they watch my daughter. My doc send you home deflated and has you start to cycle pretty quickly after that. Thanks guys.
