Had an implant put in 3weeks ago by a well know DR. In NY. Question is how long did it take to fully pump with no pain? Also when it was painful in the beginning of often/long did you let it stay erect?

I’m a little over 3 weeks. Pain is greatly diminished. If I really pump a lot, there’s discomfort..
I pump at least 2x daily. Applied heat when erect. Hot shower works better at taking pain away.

Follow your surgeon's instructions on how often and for how long to pump.
I know I started pumping at 15 days post op, by 29 days post op the pain was pretty much gone. Then we started using it. :}

3 years post-op, I still feel a little pain. Heck 45 years pre-op (when my erections were youthful and robust) I felt pain.

When I was 20 years and had powerful erections in the morning that would not go away, they were a bit painful and prevented me from urinating until I made them go away. Sometimes they were stubborn and required an orgasm to subside. With the urgency of a full bladder, that was a tough tasking.

But I digressed. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

More to your point, when I pump up fully, the pain is a pleasant stretch which I can tolerate for about 90 minutes before I must deflate. Sometimes I have fallen asleep fully erect and it wakes me.

So, I consider that pain to be a blessing. Even reassuringly enjoyable.

I can pump up 90% with no discomfort at all and have 99% of the rigidity that 100% pumped has. I can maintain that degree of inflation indefinitely (much to the delight of my girlfriend).

Every patient has a different path through recovery, though. I was left at 80% inflated, but a day after surgery, my surgeon deflated me a bit because it felt like my penis' head was caught in a vise. Two weeks later, I was fairly comfortable at 75% to 90%. Inflating and deflating was moderately uncomfortable because my scrotum was not used to being squeezed like that, but my penis was good.

3 years, Pain at 100% that I can only tolerate for 5 minutes. 90% I can keep it up for 30 minutes then need to deflate.

Was your surgery with Dr. Eid? I was able to start inflation on Day 3 but started inflating to the max around week 2(?). BUT, currently I can inflate past my previous max.

After the bulb becomes hard (can’t squeeze anymore), I move my penis up and down, side to side around 50 - 100 times and I can squeeze another 8 or so small pumps. I keep doing that until I can’t squeeze any more.

I’m not sure if that will help with girth but I’m going to keep trying for a while.

Good luck!

Yes it was. I had a 90degree curve from peyronies. Had graft surgery from a piece of $hit DR, who messed me up more. Bye then scar tissue built so much DE. Eid put in those permanent hard implants for 3 months to keep me straight and bust through the tissue. 3weeks ago I had 19cm implant and pumping kills me. It is getting better and I’m finally noticing growth .
