Eight weeks post op, I have fluid around the pump. The dissolvable sutures are pushing tru. Called spitting sutures. And now getting sharp intermittent pain in the left cylinder in the glands. No systematic infection or signs of. Just things seem to be going the wrong way. This was my 1st revision. Dr office is not making it easy to be seen. I thought I had scrotal hematoma. They actually put on the ultrasound order reason. Pt thinks he had a hematoma. Like I did not. But I did prove I had fluid around the pump. So my confidence level is now zero. The thought of an erosion is terrifying. Especially when you lost trust in your Dr. anyone experience an erosion ?
Thanks
Mike

You have had a tough time. Has this been with more than one doctor? Oops, I forgot to add. I wish you the best.

This is implant 2. 1st lasted 13 months. Post op 8 weeks and fluid around pump. Starting to think is is surgical and not post op. Spitting sutures are not uncommon. It’s the to layer. When the sutures don’t dissolve, the body pushes them out. Looks like fishing line. I did read that un dissolved sutures causes swelling, redness, discomfort. Where I could remove them, skin feels much better. Then the pain in the glans. The implant seems to be close to the urethra. Have been cycling. This just started with fluid around the pump. I recall, my first implant was more painful. But my healing was going well. This implant pain was less, put issues 8 weeks post op is a downer

I have a similar condition now. No confidence in the doctor. Can you please tell me what happened next. How are you now?

If you check his post history, he most recently posted in Oct 2022 "Hope all is well, don’t check in much. But current implant is fine. All works as it should."

My understanding is that erosion can take years, although I could be wrong, and that is usually erosion of the tips.
could you guys please put your doctors names in your signature, that way we know which docs to avoid.
It would be a very good idea to consult with Clavell, Hakky or Eid.
Wishing you the best.

When I first joined FT. Drs names were kind of taboo. I think that to a certain degree the forum didn't want any kind of libel claims. As you may of noticed. Most names are associated with at least a decent review.
So the opposite should be true. If you search for your dr & don't find anything good. Or if you ask a question about a dr & a member sends you a private message.
You have your answer.
Btw, within the last year a member had a poor outcome with his implant. A member posted that he had told him to not go to this guy. I never saw the warning post so I think it had to of been a private message or something similar.
