So my penis shaft pain isn’t worse

It it’s not a whole lot better either
Constant throb type pain
Gone in the bath
Better when laying down

Jist after standing for a bit it begins to throb and if you squeeze or touch the shaft it still hurts

Kinda concerned

Have other guys here had pain that lasted months ?

Correct me if I'm wrong. You are 12 days out of surgery. Not month(s).

I slept with a heating pad between my legs, draped over the groin, for the first couple of weeks after getting home, and that helped tremendously with pain. The pain was never severe but the kind of discomfort that reminded me I had surgery down there. There was never one day when the pain went completely away, it just gradually dissipated over time, to zero discomfort today. I think you are doing okay, improvement is slow.

Good day OP - we are on somewhat parallel journeys it seems. I had my implant done 14 days ago (June 8). There is another recent and related post regarding post-procedure pain that I skimmed and am going to run through that following this quick reply post, I hope you do as well. This is just my experience so far.

Days 1 -3: I experienced only minor discomfort, actually stopped taking pain meds after 3 days. Fast forward to day 7 - holy cow it hurt to even walk. My pain is centered at the pubis area I believe it is called, that void between the belly button and penis shaft. I saw my doc yesterday, he stated he was very surprised at my bruising and swelling (still 'bad'). Bruising covers both hips and slight penile area and scrotum. Swelling in testicles and most bothersome is the swelling and discomfort at the pubis area I describe. Doc said that everyone is different, react different, heal different, and he is pleased. This visit was all about an infection check and I am clear of that thankfully. He stated that the pubis area swelling is likely due to the implant reservoir insert as it tracks through that area...

I wish I had something for you to ease your (and my!) mind. I am icing like a madman, binge watching on Netflix, and return to work on Monday. Good lord I am not looking forward to that, for the first time I am thankful I am a desk jockey. I am trusting our fellow travelers like warrenw - head down into the wind and trust that time will deliver us to the promised land, on its own time, not ours.

If I am the first to say 'welcome to the brotherhood' - I just did and I am pleased to do so! I am keeping my eyes down the road to better days and slogging through the present with an attentive, but not judemental eye at any progress. Trust the process and hang in there friend. DJ

PS - that other post was an earlier post you had done. Good advice in there as well.

While I have not had surgery yet, two things I have seen others recommend...
-Lidocain cream
-Wearing a small sock (like a toddler sock) over your penis
