How long does it take to pump up for sex?

I have noticed a wide variation in the number of pumps required for one bionic brother to another to inflate for sex. It seems anywhere from 15 to 70-80 and more. This may depend on volume of cylinders, type of pump and pumping technique. Another way to ask it from a practical standpoint is how long does it typically take to pump up for sex? Not so much for cycling which may require more pumps and more time. But how many seconds/minutes does it take to pump up for a typical sexual encounter?

Rock hard for sex, 1 to 2 minutes. For cycling maybe 4 or 5 at the most.

RoninRiff, I have a suspicion that even among the same brand & model of pumps. There must be some variations in the volume of saline that is delivered per pump. Whether the pump chamber doesn't fill completely or there is some back flow before a check valve stops it I don't know. I have a hard time explaining in my mind the huge differences in pumping numbers. Even if you account for the size of cylinders I don't think that covers it.
Your question of time required is a good question. But it seems that a deficient pump displacement would also show up in longer pump times.
I wish that I had an answer. In the surgery videos I've watched. The surgeon squeezes the bulb & the penis reacts instantly to each pump.
I wonder why or if the implant companies run the pumps through a break in cycle during manufacturing? Pre broke in pumps sure would help men during their recovery.

It seems that when the implant is new, it takes less pumps. But as it ages and expands, it takes more.

I believe those men needing 70 pumps aren't pumping wall to wall. They probably are doing half pumps.

20 pumps are ok for sex, but not the hardest. I believe around 25 full pumps is what comes closer to a very good natural erection, in MY experience. More than this is just like a steel pipe and unnatural.

I believe I take 40~60 seconds to pump 25 times.

If you are concerned about pumping in a dating situation, you start out with it pumped 50-60 %.You can live with that all evening. From there it takes a few seconds.

If somebody is pumping 70-80 times to fill up a 22cm cylinder, there is something wrong either on the pump or you have a leak some where in the system. You should have a full erection with 24 pumps if you have the bigger MS pump. If you have a Titan which is a smaller pump it might take a few more, but 80 is ridiculous. I have an eight inch and I perfectly hard and happy with 22 pumps, and my girth is 5.7 in.

I have the ams. It takes between 20 to 30. Probably 25 most of the time. But I have noticed that depending on just how I hold the pump, it can be 25, or pump till I'm blue in the face. Almost like there is over pressure release valve. Then other times when I get to the 25 to 30 mark, I can't get anymore in it.The pump is hard as a rock.
But either way it takes less than a minute to get as hard as it can.

I haven't timed how long it takes to pump up.

Anecdotally, my answer is not very long, but too long not to be awkward while in the middle of having sex.

I find what works best for me is to inflate before foreplay. Usually, I'll do it while getting ready for bed.
