Difficulty orgasming after implant

Hi all,

3 months post implant and been having sex since week 3. Prior to implant I could orgasm within 15 minutes but now it takes an hour—if at all.

Anyone experience this? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There have been a number of threads on this. A search and some time reading will give you some of the answers to your question. Many do have problems but like a lot of things this improves over time. But then others do not. Best advice I know to give is to relax and enjoy the good parts of this. One member on this site spent a lot of time and doctor visits and different treatments and then over time the problem improved on it's own with out the use of any of the medications and treatments that he used. Things are a bit different now and we each have our own path to orgasm. So we just need to adjust a bit to the new. And it can take a fair bit of time. If you have this in your head thinking about it then it is just getting in the way of getting there.

I think that has happened to the majority of guys with implants. The penis is less sensitive and for me it does take a long time - sometimes it never happens.
My take on this is that while yes i would like it to happen to me each and every time but as long as she has enjoyed the ride then im happy with that.

Totally agree with you. I have never been quick to cum, and would say in the past 15 years have only cum once from penetrative sex. Usually get the wife off and then masturbate while she is caressing my nipples or balls.
Since implant I have only cum with masturbation, non-inflated and alone. I am hoping someday to change that but right now sex with the wife is great and she is getting off. When I am thrusting and my heart rate goes up, it feels great and when I stop and there is that return to normal, it is almost the same feeling after an orgasm. But I can jump right back into the saddle and thrust some more. Our sex lasts longer because there isn't that threat of my erection going away. Orgasms are great, but the journey can be better

It's always been fairly difficult for me to orgasms. I usually have to finish myself off with my hand when having sex. It's neither harder nor easier since I got the implant, which was a little over two months ago. Of course I would prefer to be able to come by just fucking, but I'm somewhat reconciled with this shortcoming.

But one thing that has changed since the surgery, that has me a bit worried, is that I no longer ejaculate every time that I orgasm, and when I do, it tends to be a rather pathetic dribble. I've never been a far shooter, but my loads have been of normal size. (Being gay, I've had plenty of opportunities to compare with other men.) Now when I orgasm, sometimes there's nothing at all, but if I squeeze the shaft from the root forward after the orgasm, as few drops of cum come out, so clearly I do still produce ejaculate. I don't know why it would come out the way it used to. I will discuss this with Dr. Eid when I go for my three-months follow-up visit in about a month.

One factor that might be relevant here is that for the last several months, I've been on the medication Tamsulosin (brand name: Flomax) as a treatment of my benign enlargement of the prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia). Apparently, this medication can lead to a diminished amount of ejaculate, but I started that medication several months before my implantation, and didn't notice any difference till afterwards. In any case, I'm planning on having the Rezume procedure done from my enlarged prostate, which should let me get off the medication. I eroticize cum and would love to get fuller loads again.

NYCGay,

As regards loss of cum, I had radiation for Prostate Cancer. Was told I would never ejaculate again. Wrong. Over the 15 years post radiation, I do ejaculate. At first I thought it was just sperm from testicles oozing up the tubes. Started prostate massage (to help with orgasm) and produce a clear fluid with physical pressure (dildo and such). If I refrain from orgasm for a couple of weeks I do get a much large Load. No distance, just a slow dripping. So, muscle damage but the Force (Juice) is still with me.

Maybe something to investigate.

Read the last few words of bushpig's post and just enjoy the fact that you can GIVE orgasms.

I know, this may not be all you had hoped for with the implant, but consider the alternative, staying with what you had before the implant. It is unfortunate that your hoped-for outcome was not reached, but I recommend you concentrate on the improvement in your condition. Also, time often improves a patient's ability to orgasm. I am an example. Right after surgery (for about two years) I failed to orgasm and ejaculate a portion of our sexual sessions. Now, three and a half years after, I orgasm every time.

I have the same issue. I haven't had an orgasm during sex since the implant. This morning I was cycling when I got in the shower, and of course had to masturbate some, and since I'd been crazy horny all morning, I laid on the bed and went for it. I jerked until my arm gave out...no orgasm. But, you know what? Being able to fuck someone senseless, and looking down at my hard dick standing there, brings great joy. Even with it taking extreme measures to cum, I wouldn't trade this implant for anything! Maybe things will improve over time, as many have experienced, in any case life is good.

As others have posted I have had difficulty reaching orgasm when having sex with my wife. Since being implanted I would have failed to reach orgasm more often than I did during sexual intercourse. Trying to finish by hand is like watching wet paint dry, it takes forever. Part of this is the implant, but also I have been like this all my life. How much is the implant and how much is the usual me I don't know, but it is much more difficult post implant.

However, there is light at the end of the tunnel, as I have found a position which gives a good strike rate. My wife lays on her stomach, with 2 pillows under her hips elevating her butt slightly. I enter from behind and off we go. This seems to enhance the sensations for both of us and I have been able to reach orgasm regularly 8-) .
I guess the position could be called a "low doggie"
