How many pumps ?
How many pumps ?
My implant was a little more than a month ago. It is still hard to inflate and deflate. It’s actually getting easier. But inflating is awkward. I get the first 4 or so pumps then it gets super hard to collapse the ball. How many pumps is normal. 15 cm with 3 cm rear tip. AMS 700 cx . Had a 40 degree peyronies.
68 years old. Have had ED for about 30 years. Tried all the pills successful for a while had to move on to injections, developed bad peyronies. Implant on 7/1/21. Hoping for success

I think it varies with all of us. As long as it's getting hard and is not causing you pain I wouldn't worry about that.

Re: How many pumps ?
I suggest you not bother with comparing the number of pumps/squeezes to get inflated. There are so many variables between men that a direct comparison to another man's count is not informative.
What is informative is how many pumps it takes you to get a particular degree of rigidity/inflation/erection and how that varies over the weeks and months.
Take care to always use the same degree of effort and depth of squeeze or the count will be meaningless.
I can get a decent erection with 20 deep squeezes and very rigid at about 30. But I can continue to get in pumps (with increasing difficulty and unable past 30 to get a complete bulb compression) to around 60. At that point, rigidity no longer increases with more pumps and I suspect a release valve is letting pressure back out as a safety feature.
Other threads in this forum (use the search engine - the information is vast and the men who contributed may not be on the forum at present, so the information you will find there may not be forthcoming now) have discussed this, too. Summary: Some men get fully erect at 4 to 6 pumps though this was questioned and some men take 40, 50 even more. Variations in pumping technique and implant size accounted for most of the differences.
