Recent Young IPP(Titan) Post-Op Patient Concerns

Would love to hear about people's experiences with their implant. I am almost 4 weeks post-op and see my surgeon in a week to get what I am guessing is the 'green light' to be sexual. I am going to write a couple of concerns, thoughts, and observations and would love to hear some input:

My biggest concern is size lost. Are there steps to take to prevent this.

While cycling is it possible to over inflate or 'burst' your penis

How low can the penis hang when flaccid...I feel like it's rigid sticking out nature is creating too much of a bulge...Does the it become more flexible or point lower to create less of an bulge

I already was wearing Separatec before the surgery, are there any other suggestions...I feel that underwear currently is too constricting and the loose underwear that cant fit feel better but offer little balls support.

I find it painful to put on swim wear with a mesh liner and I do not even know if I will be able to wear swim briefs anymore or fitted trunks. The head and skin seems sensitive is this from 'too much' cycling or is that even possible

I am starting to workout again and can do cardio on the elliptical strenuously no issue like pre-op...I am noticing I can't do any core specific exercises and squatting is still difficult because the back arch forces the balls and penis to adjust causing a discomfort feeling...anybody have any advice or insight when it came to regaining athletic activity again

Hey, I'm also a young patient, soon to get an implant. Its so nice to see that I'm not alone in this. All the best to your recovery.

I can answer one of your questions atleast. It practically isn't possible to burst a Titan by overfilling. Why ? Three reasons :

1. I'm pretty sure they don't put enough fluid in your reservoir for you to be able to do that.
2. Titans are HARD from what I've read. They're made from a special material. Its very unlikely that they're going to burst. I've never read of a case anywhere in the medical literature or here, of such a thing happening. What can happen sometimes is with the AMS, you can suffer an aneurysm of the cylinders. Its a rare complication and easily fixable. But I've never heard of one happening with a Titan. I've heard of cases where the implant can get pricked by a sharp instrument and lose fluid during surgery, but that's a surgeon error and not the same as the device bursting.
3. Once its full, the pump will go hard. Your hands probably won't have enough strength to pump even further.

I was thinking is it possible for me to blow up my penis but then I was thinking its just me getting use to the new sensations and feelings caused by the cylinders filling and stretching

There may be a pressure relieve valve to prevent blowout as well. I have read that AMS has one. Less sure about Coloplast. Since the Coloplast is "Tunica-Dependent" it is possible that they don't need one because over-pumping would be limited by patient discomfort. That is just a speculation.

The tubing and connections are the more fragile parts of the implant.

Aneurism of the cylinders were more common in earlier models. Current models are much more robust.

Coloplast Titans do hang eventually. The proprietary material "Bioflex" softens over the months after surgery.

"Speedo" style swimsuits might not be advisable, especially for the next year or so. Patterned suits hide the "printing" of your penis a bit better. There is a thread on this (I don't have the link handy, but if you search on "speedo" I bet you will find it).

Core exercises will be a while to become comfortable. Most patients focus on the scrotum and penis, but the placement of the reservoir was traumatic to your core muscles, too.

Around 5-6 weeks is really when I started feeling more comfortable with my flaccid Titan. I like to double up underwear and wear it pointed up or slightly to the right. Having 26+ inches though, you might have to wrap that thing around your waist!

Well I hate to tell you I lost almost an inch, but that was because I knew nothing about cycling. Hadn't found FT yet and my surgeon just told me to "go use it." Plus I had a reaction to the antibiotic that made my shaft feel on fire after inflating. Since COVID hit right after my surgery couldn't go see doc about that. 6 months down the road all was fine and I found FT. Now I love having the implant.
I've pumped mine up until the bulb is rock solid, didn't burst my penis. Flaccid is a lot bigger now, and no more swim trunks for me. I wore satin underwear for a while, especially to sleep in. Boxer briefs now keep things in place, and in jeans hides the bulge.
Cycling they say is what stretches you back out. After I found FT at 5 months post I started cycling. Two months and just a slight gain so I gave up. That must mean the early days are most important to cycle.
