Post Op Nocturia

Postby Doubleb » Thu Aug 19, 2021 7:03 am

I am about 10 days post implant. I had just been getting my frequent nighttime urination under control with medication but now it's even worse than before I started meds. I am getting up almost twice an hour every hour to urinate at night. Does the still partially inflated implant have anything to do with this or is this just a coincidental situation? This is really having an impact on me as I am getting very little quality sleep.

I did urinate frequently in drips and drabs for first few days all night long. Glad Dr. Eid insists on the catheter to keep you in bed. I drank a lot of fluids the first week to flush out the antibiotics and other fluids so urinated frequently-sometimes at night.

If persists, call your doctor.

I had the dribbling problem at the end of 2019. As part of my trying to get rid of ED, I restarted kegels. That cured my dribbling problem. Then, after my surgery and a break from kegeling, I noticed I started dribbling again. I have been doing kegels for several weeks again. It's back under control.
