Cycling issues

I was just ok’d to start cycling. Had implant done end of June but due to excessive swelling I had to wait til this past week to start. Met with urologist and she went over it. I’m having a heck of a time. I’ve read from others some frustration when starting to cycle. I’m pulling and feeling around down there getting the lay of the land but trying to find the deflation button has me going crazy. I’m pretty much just venting at this point. I go back to see her in a few weeks but man I thought this would be easier. The pump feels like it turns and never seems to be in the same place.

We have the same type and size implant. Yes, those first days cycling are a pain, sometimes figuratively and literally. Early on the pump would hide behind my ball, deep into the back of my sac, making it difficult to get to and use. Did you go home with the AMS replica of the pump? If so, use it to familiarize your hand with how it feels by touch, without looking at it. Visualizing how it is shaped, and especially where that damn deflate button is might be helpful. Now, the pump moves around wherever it wants to, and a few times I have found it turned backwards, or floating upside down. When my sac is warm and loose, the pump is very easy to find and use. Maybe you could try adding some heat to relax your scrotum? I promise you, this gets easier with each passing day and you will get to the point where you can inflate with hardly having to concentrate.

Hey there! Yes I have the sample pump. It’s just when I’m feeling around in there the actual pump is moving around and I’m trying to figure out where everything is. I’ll get there. Thanks!

That was my issue the first few months. Same thing, felt like every time I looked for it it seemed to have moved or turned. Actually back to doc twice to get deflated because I could not find the button, and having an erection for 24+ hours ain't fun in the first 8 weeks.
Before long you get used to it.
