I did pay cash.
I paid $24,000.
My doctor was Dr. Andrew Kramer.
My insurance was not going to cover it.
Best 24K I’ve ever spent lol

Interesting question - so medicare paid my op. Was 43 k. So does the government pay more then every one else? Million dollar toilet seats?

Here in Md. BC/BS paid 30K, I paid my out of pocket, which was about 5K at the time.
All 3 surgeries...I'd say about 100K all together.

That is what I see also. Studying all the Medicare bills, I see they paid $63,000 to a University Hospital. Maybe that is their way of subsidizing education. I did stay 2 days to be sure no complications before I traveled back home.
