Hi folks,

After a lot of research and planning I finally had my surgery today with Dr. Eid. I am laid up in a hotel room with a Foley catheter in place and an ice pack on myself. 20cm Colplast Titan without RTEs. I was 6” before, 5.5” girth…chances of getting that back??

Having some serious buyers remorse but at the same time realize that I’m in pain and have a tube coming out of my penis.

Looking for all the usual reassurances…thanks.

Jack

Congratulation on the implant. I'm a year out from my surgery and yes it sucks at first but it gets better real fast. You will be happy in a few weeks. Just remember you had some pretty invasive surgery in a tender place.

I am seeing Dr. Eid next Wednesday for injection and doppler. I would love it if you would detail your experience and recovery

I did not have catheter. I peed after the surgery, not sure why some doctors have catheter.

I am on a waiting list in Montreal. I expect from 3 to 6 month to surgery. I can't tell you anything from experience. But I read so much positive testimonies here. I feel optimistic for you. And for me...

Day #1 post-op, 24 hours:

*pain last evening was pretty bad, so I cracked the seal on the Percocet. Interestingly, it did less for me than the ibuprofen 600.

*almost continuous ice packs, as Dr. Eid suggests the less swelling I have, the easier it is to get to the pump in the FIRST WEEK to begin to cycle. Seeing him in he office on day three for my rehab instructions.

*catheter less irritating now

*intact BULBARCAVERNOSIS reflex! …when the glans is pinched a man should get a neurologic reflex of the anus spasming. Means the nerves work. Also good sensation there.

*antiinflammatory foods- almonds, blueberries, dark chocolate, ginger, oily fish- will become part of my diet for a few weeks or longer

I didn't have it as well. That is why, I was able to pee immediately after the surgery without any pain. I guess all doctors use it, but some of them remove it before you wake up.

Anyone know how much of the corpora is inside? Eid said he put in a 20 instead of a 22cm b/c I had a “small” crus. Hope to get back to 15cm length….
