Implant Surgery

Hey guys,
I just thought I’d start a new thread here for my experience with an implant. I’m a young guy (33) and have had ED for 10 years now. I’ve tried pills, injections, shockwave therapy and these would all work for the first little bit but would quickly stop working. I’ve been hobbling around using viagra for a while but it is very unpredictable and sometimes it just does nothing.
Anyways I made the decision to get an implant back in September and I just got my surgery done by Dr. Eid two days ago. It’s been a rough experience so far. In the recovery room I couldn’t stand up without throwing up. The percocets gave me horrible constipation and also made me throw up a few times so I’ve stopped taking them and the pain is not that bad. It’s mostly just doing a crunch movement that hurts when you’re trying to sit up. I also have really bad heartburn, which could be because I’ve been laying down for so long.
I have a low grade fever right now and I’m terrified of getting an infection. Hopefully the next few days show improvement for me. I’ll keep my experience documented in this thread!
Post surgery Day 3:
Took the catheter out and it burned like hell, but it came out pretty easy. So far the worst part is actually that my skin is peeling off around my ball sack exposing raw flesh that stings when touched. I wasn’t expecting that to be a thing. Another issue is that the gauze seems to be very stuck to the incision so I’m not sure if I’m supposed to try to rip it off or just let it soak in the tub and come off on its own time. I also tried pumping but the bulb felt hard as a rock. Even with two hands I couldn’t squeeze it.
I’ve been trying to get in contact with Dr. Eid about some of these issues, but he’s only replied with short nonsensical answers that don’t even answer my questions. He’s been on radio silence for the last 7 hours which is kind of frustrating and I don’t have any other person to contact about it. My experience has not been great so far. I’m looking to getting back to my own house and recovering there.
Post Surgery Day 4:
Went and saw Dr. Eid for a follow up and he was able to pump me up (this was quite painful). He also told me to get some MediHoney for the burn on my scrotum, but I can’t seem to find that in Canada. Anyone know something equivalent here? He said everything was looking good and there was no sign of infection or anything like that.
After the appointment I caught a plane back to Canada and finally made it back home. My dick got flagged by the security scanner at both airports lol So this is my new life now. After getting home I had a hot bath for 40 minutes and was able to cycle the implant. It’s quite painful, but Dr Eid says it’s important to start cycling early so I’ll trust him. The inflated implant makes my dick quite oval in shape instead of round. I’m hoping this will be resolved when I’m actually aroused by my urethra being engorged. I can’t imagine the shape would be very pleasurable for a girl…
Sleeping was rough as I kept waking up drenched in sweat every hour or so. I checked my temperature and I didn’t have a fever (possibly a little low actually). Not sure if this is from not eating much food for the past few days or what.
Post Surgery Day 5:
Mostly just relaxing today. I called Dr. Eid to try to ask him about the night sweats and if they’re something to be concerned about but haven’t received a call back yet.
Dr. Eid got back to me and suggested that the night sweats are likely due to the antibiotics. So we’ll see what happens when I finish those up, hopefully the night sweats disappear.
Still doing the hot baths and cycling twice a day. Cycling is pretty painful at this point. I’ve been taking Extra Strength Tylenol for the dull pain in the penis after pumping. I’m hoping this goes away soon. Anybody have any idea how long this last for? A pleasant surprise today was that when I was pumping I was quite aroused and my penis really filled out nicely. The head was engorged and so was the corpus spongiosum around my urethra. I’m starting to realize how awesome this thing is going to be once the pain is gone
The other main struggle I’m having now is how to orient my dick in my underwear. It hurts to bend it cause it’s quite stiff so I’ve still been either pointing it up or to the left a little bit as my dick has a bit of a curve that way already.
Post Surgery Day 6:
Pain in the scrotum has mostly disappeared. Still a little bit of discomfort around the pump and tubing, but not bad at all. The main struggle right now is the dull/aching penis pain from pumping and the discomfort of bending my penis in my underwear.
Post Surgery Day 7:
Not much change from yesterday. I think the penis aching and discomfort will probably last for a while…
