Hi,

i have a spinal cord injury which is the primary cause of my ED. the efficacy of pills is reducing and on the off chance i can reach climax, i do so with a lot of difficulty. i cannot do injections so i am thinking of going straight to the implant. i think that the sensation has already been effected a little because of the SCI, so any further loss scares me. how did your implant change the sensitivity and/or ability to finish?. how long did it take to return to normal after your procedure?

thanks,

I'm hitting the 8 month mark on my 3rd surgery and the sensation has been slowly coming back for the last 2 months I would say,,, everyone is different and people heal diff, also.
If you still have the drive for sex, don't give up,, Do some research of surgeons and make an appointment to see what is best for your individual situation.
And there is great info, here,, alot of reading will help you make an informed decision.

It took a while for my sensitivity to return to normal. I had my surgery near the end of October last year, and it wasn't until the middle of February that sex started to feel good.

When I told my doctor this at my six-month follow-up appointment, he wasn't surprised. He said the body takes a while to heal and get used to the "new normal."

Now I have really strong sensitivity and more intense orgasms than before the implant.
