I am considering an implant but I question how that would impact my travel plans especially with friends and other acquaintances.
Anyone had any experience with the matter
Thanks in advance!

Travel with an implant is pretty much the same as travel with any other penis.
There have been issues with security screenings at airports (scanners detecting the implant). Sometimes this results in slight delays or minor embarrassments but nothing tremendous.
A flaccid implanted penis is usually a bit larger than it was before the implant, but not outside the normal range for a man of any given size, so there should be no worries there. Some men (who were very small when flaccid, but sizable when erect - called "growers") feel conspicuously larger than before implant. But this is in their own perception. They became what is called "showers" - because they, like many other men "show" when flaccid. This is not a concern and you will get used to it in time, as "showers" got used to it from birth.

Is your real concern that it many detected by screeners at the airport, resulting in anyone with you becoming aware?

If you go through the body scanner some get tagged with a “groin anomaly”. What shows on the stick man on the screeners display is a yellow box over the crotch. Likely same as if you had something in your pocket. They then pay around the area to check. I never had to tell them I had an implant. I suppose if you have recurring travel with the same persons, they might start to wonder, but one time event can be attributed to a random glitch. Suggest TSA Pre-check as you skip the body scanner. (And the longer lines)

I posted recently about an incident at LA international airport. I don’t think pre-check is available for foreigners, but I believe what showed up was the fine tubing, and perhaps the pump, not the implant itself.
The advantages of the implant so far outweigh all disadvantages that my recommendation is that you put THE very highest priority on getting yourself back to better performance than you can possibly imagine. . . .
I guess it’s easier for me at 70 to be open, but I don’t care who knows about mine, and it is my goal to help others by being much more open about educating people…

There are a lot of older threads on this for sure. I get hit about 50/50. Just on the one scanner where you stand on the footprints and raise your hands. Big yellow box all over the groin area.
I could care less if they want to grope me. Takes a couple minutes and they swab your hands to make sure you have not handled a firearm and hidden it in your crotch area. They are professional I have found. Usually laughing or smile when I just say nothing in my pants but me.
I never have mentioned an implant and have no intention of carrying a card around about an implant.
My absolute only worry when traveling is if I am unconscious for some reason and a doc starts cutting into my stomach. Figure if its that bad they can fix that issue and I will see my urologist to fix the implant if they screw it up. I would guess they could care less about saving your implant if your life is in question.
Covid around is way more of a worry for me with international travel.
