problems since revision

sorry Ive been in hiding for a while. Had my revision done earlier this year ( from a defective pump/shafts )
Prior to the breakage, I was doing OK . Was enjoying sex even though its not what I Ive experienced my entire life.
I have MS, which is what caused my ED. In addition I have severe spinal issues. 2 weeks ago I had to go through my 5 major spine surgery since a horrific accident 6 years ago. the ED started about 13 years ago and gradually got worse and worse. I had my 1st implant done 3 years ago.. My 1st change. I used to be very bent. Now that I have the implant Im straight.. I ended up losing length and girth. Had to relearn how to bang.... I was falling out a lot.. Eventually when the implant failed I couldnt do anything for a while. Since the revision earlier this year.. Trying to have sex has been brutal.. The new unit ( while supposedly 3 MM longer ) is actually shorter, and the girth seems to be less. In addition I never seem to be able to get it to get to extra firmness. less than the original unit. Lastly I seem to be floppy, meaning even when it gets as hard as it can go, doesnt seem to lock into place - made the few times ive been able to attempt sex - very unpleasable. I know its affecting my wife. The major problem.. She offered to give me head last night ( as I cant really move yet due to my spinal surgery.. It seems like the tips on the 2 chambers - are now much further apart than the original AMS700 unit. Almost seems like since the revision they keep getting further away from each other.. anyone else experience this? Im scared I am going to need another revision. 7 total surgeries in 3.5 years. 2 on my manhood and 5 on my spine. Now sure how much more I can talk.

Wow. Sorry for all your trouble. From your signature you went from a 18 cm plus 3cm rte's to a 21cm plus 2cm rte's so they added 2 more cm in total length. I have had inflation trouble with my LGX 21cm so if your revision was with a LGX this may be something like I had. And due to that I had some trouble with my tips location in my glans. Not exactly the same as you but maybe I can help a bit. First my cylinders inflate a bit differently. You can inflate and watch and feel to see if both tips are going up equally or if one is a bit slower. If so just pump about 1/2 way and wait and see if they equal out in a minute or 2. Then you can pump some more. My pump softened enough I could pump 1 handed until I was about 60-70% and I would guide the tips to where they should have been. Then I would use 2 hands to get to 100% and take breaks in between to pull my glans forward and then guide them back on the tips in the correct position. And every once in a while I will inflate and have much greater girth and less length. I don't know what is up with that. You should be fully healed and you can decide if you want to try to do long stretching inflations or use a VED. I used the long pump adding inflations. I would inflate to 100% and then wait a few minutes and add more pumps. Then wait a few more minutes and try to add more or what is called forcing pumps. This can be done for up to an hour. But 2 30 minute sessions work as well. I had trouble with orgasm after the surgery and I would use these sessions to masturbate. The rubbing of the shaft would help with the stretching. This is to only be done after you are fully healed and released by your doctor. I had gains over a year after my surgery doing this. You should be careful to not cause pain with this though. What you are looking for is the feeling of stretching. When that goes away then attempt to add or force more pumps. I did not use a VED but some have said that it works much faster than stretching inflations. And there is even a paper out that has a well known Florida doctors name on it where men used VED post op. https://irp-cdn.multiscreensite.com/d88 ... action.pdf

These devices can be quirky so we just need to find a way to make them work. The AMS rep might also have some idea's to help. I found that if the first pump needs to really be forceful and fast. And full wall to wall. Heat helps with this. So either in a hot shower or bath or even a heating pad or hot water bottle. If there are problems with the inflation then I will deflate and start over. The old tricks right after first activation can still be need even years into this.

I second Newbie's suggestion to contact AMS representative. Your issue seems to be with inflating as you say there is firmness issue, and you should not have the floppy glans going from 21cm to 23cm. Instead, it is expected to get pain in the tips if aggressively sized.
IMO, I think it is better not use your implant till you see the representative or see another doctor who can give you a second opinion. At 5 months post-op, you should be able to inflate to the max.

IMO, I think it is better not use your implant till you see the representative or see another doctor who can give you a second opinion. At 5 months post-op, you should be able to inflate to the max.

Also, if I am a doctor and have to perform an IPP on a patient who lost some size and needs 18cm (plus 1 or 2cm RTE), I will go for LGX to help expansion in length. If a revision is necessary after some time, it is the perfect chance to go for AMS/CX or Titan, especially for 21cm or more. That is why I believe your doctor could do an amazing job if he went to CX or Titan, which are know for higher stiffness.
