My implant is going to happen - 11/12/2021 with Dr Eid

Have done all my research and preparation and will be at hospital in the morning at 5:30 am. My initial consult with Dr. Eid was a video conference a few months ago. Seemed like it took forever to get the pre-op work done. Cardiac clearance, blood work, etc. Met with Dr. Eid in person for first time this past Wednesday. I am totally comfortable with him. I found him and his staff to be professional, knowledgeable and courteous.
A few weeks ago at my routine cancer check up testing showed a slight rise in my PSA after 2 1/2 years of undetectable. I was afraid that this might derail my implant at this time and have to postpone the implant. It turned out to be something we can deal with after the implant. As soon as that obstacle was cleared I started worrying about getting through all the pre-op work here in New York just two days prior to implant. Everything checked out and at that moment I was no longer anxious, (scared shitless), but now ready to get this show on the road and regain some of what I have missed since my prostate cancer event in 2018. I am as ready as I can be. I have penciled myself in for a text book recovery experience as described by TANGERINE in his pamphlet, thanks again for all that information. Very helpful. I'll post some updates as this proceeds.
This website has been absolutely invaluable as not only a source of 100% real life, real time information but also an inspiration and encouragement to all of this experiencing this journey. Thanks to all the guys willing to share their story with us. Greatly appreciated.
