So I’m planning on having sex with my wife next Saturday (long story why next Saturday) and she said she doesn’t want to be involved in what I’m doing in terms of pumping. Since my pain threshold is around a half hour, what’s the best way of doing this? Do I just start pumped up so I don’t have to think about this or do I take a pause and just pump while lying down. Should I take an oxy to help me deal with the pan? I’m only around 4 weeks into this btw.

You could try some foreplay. When you think launch time is getting near. Excuse yourself to go pee. Pump it up & return to the bed.
Maybe you could spend some time & develope a method to slowly pump while the two of you are fooling around?
Maybe the better question. Is there a reason that you can't get her onboard to let you pump while you're near her??
Good luck. First time might be nerve racking. Remember you'll survive it.

Why do you believe you'll be in pain?
Have you fully pumped yet to see how it feels?
I'd recommend pumping up fully and let nature take its course on Saturday.

I think her message to me is that she doesn’t want me talking about it. She wants to be in the flow. I’m thinking about just going full throttle and dealing with the pain . It might be easier than thinking and strategizing.

That sounds like a plan, but I don't like the pain part of it.

My 1st couple times after surgery pumping up was uncomfortable but once 'inside' that discomfort seemed to ease. Go for it!

Yes Thomas1 when I cycle for a half hour it’s painful. But I’m new to this, got implanted on November 16.

Just a thought
If you’re not allergic to them, you might try taking acetaminophen or ibuprofen (Tylenol or Motrin) and then pump up.
I never had any significant pain with my implant. And you definitely don’t want to take anything strong or narcotic because that will dull sensations, possibly make you drowsy. Sex with an implant isn’t boring, you don’t need to go sleep during.
But a mild, over the counter pain reliever should not interfere with sex and it might make being pumped for a longer than typical time more comfortable.

Maybe instead of thinking so much about your pain, it would be good to be thinking of the best foreplay in your life for your wife and knocking your wife's sock off with several tremendous orgasms so that she will quickly get on board with your new toy, your love making skills, and your new found confidence as a virile hard as a rock man.
I think for myself, I would be factoring my wifes pleasure into this first equation as her glee would be an energizing factor to ignore the pain. Just my thoughts.
