tankerman777,
Not quite sure I fully understand your question ...
Is it "performance anxity" or erection fade ("i lose it during intercourse") ... have you tried a constriction ring to prevent the "fade"?
As far as "qualify for Implant" ... have you seen a URO? It's not so much up to the URO if you "qualify" as the Insurance company (if that applies). Basically the URO submits certain (medical) codes to the Ins. company and the reply is usually pretty quick.

Tankerman,
Sounds like you may be suffering from "Venous Leakage" which causes you to lose your erection during intercourse.
I would suggest consulting with your URO re this possibility.
If this is the case, you should certainly "qualify" for an Implant.
I was implanted with the Coloplast Titan in December 2007 after developing ED Post-Prostatectomy in 2004.
This completely corrected my ED problem.
Best of luck.

Re: implant
Best to check with the insurance company. My insurance does not cover any ED treatment for any cause. They call it an exclusion.
If it is performance anxity for sure, you might want to seek psycological help first.

Re: implant
If you have a permanent partner and this happens all the time then very unlikely this is psychological. That could be a venous leak. I had been struggling for an answer for years of why I was losing erection during an intercourse... until I found with the Doppler test that I had a bad venous leak. I mean really bad that even strongest tri-mix would just flush away into my blood stream rather than causing a lasting erection. That was sad and good news. The sad part was that it was not curable. But the good news was that no longer do I have to search for an answer and blame for the psychological reason. Now I know this is physical, that the problem is not in my mind; and just patiently wait for the implant surgery.
Get your Doppler test done to know for sure if it is psychological or not. Good luck
