So, I am going bionic on feb 14th - what irony!
I have chosen Mike Fraser based in Glasgow Uk but he is based some 400 miles away from
Me.
I am deciding how to get to and more so back home following the surgery. I plan to stay in Glasgow for 3 or 4 days following surgery and either fly to london (1h 20 mins ) and then be driven 2 hours home or, skip the flight and be driven home ( about hours with one stop ) which is obviously longer but I could potentially lie down and be more comfortable.
What would you suggest?
Thanks

I was implanted Thursday. After only two days I feel amazing fine with little pain. But everyone is different. I would not want to go through the hassle, etc at the airport and you may have some trouble walking the first couple days. Being in the airplane seat may be very uncomfortable and you could not do anything about it. I would plan the drive, as you said you could lay down or even stop and rest anytime you need to.

Yes, everyone heals differently. You may be one of the lucky ones, but after your 3 or 4 day stay, evaluate yourself.
It is a hassle going through the airport...hold on...you will be inflated at least 60% (do you really want to produce a Dr. note on your surgery, explain the procedure, your inflation, etc...yeah, opt for the driving. You may be visiting the Dr. regarding deflation. Talk to the Dr. about postOP stuff, what is to be expected, etc.
If you have any young ones, no carrying anything over 10 lbs.

Hello
In next month i will have implant. The Hospital is about 300 km from my home.
I will go there alone. What is better to go back? Drive car? Train?
You think is it possible to drive car in the next day after surgery?
Should i stay in hotel? If yes how Long?

Wow Pentagram, that is a lot, and a big load.
As I said before, everyone heals differently.
You may want to read, or ask, Merrix. He went through it alone, as he had to travel, but you can pick up some tips from what he did and what he went through.
You will have to go back and see the Dr. post Operation. You will need instructions on WHEN you can deflate/inflate, if you are getting a 3 piece, but you will definitely need to visit the Dr. again. Talk to him/her and let them know your circumstances. Driving may be out, so hopefully you find a hotel within walking distance to the Dr's office.

I drove in the end , well I was driven back:
It was a 500 mile (750km ) trip and took about 9 hours with stops. It was ok actually.
I was driving myself a week later , I drive with the seat at roughly 130 degrees - not all that safe but it’s comfortable.

How’s your recovery coming along mate?
How are things? Everything looking okay?
It’s been about 3 weeks now right?

I’ve been bionic three weeks on Monday mate.
I’ve been quite pleased with my recovery so far, being diabetic I was concerned I would take longer to heal but I don’t thInk that’s been the case.
Penoscrotal incision has all but healed and penis is straight finally! Only issue is I can’t deflate, when I do it’s only down to about 25% and still CtuLlybhars enough for sex and sometimes I get auto inflation during the night which is agony.
I thought I’d be able to let my dick hang at 5 o clock by now but it won’t go any further than 2 o clock so moving about is still uncomfortable. I’m seeing a surgeon connected to mine on Monday as I want him to check me over and tell me what I’m doing wrong.
