Hi I had surgery cancelled at the last minute.
I have to reschedule tommorow.
I’m a bit worried because I have a golf holiday booked .
Do you think 3 weeks of recovery would enable me to play 3 rounds.
I would be icing from the first day . Doc does de inflation after 2 weeks.
I’m 55 and fairly active.

I read some guys golfed after 10 days, which seemed too soon for me. I stayed as flat as possible and iced a bunch.

I went to the putting green during week 4, and hit the range during week 5. Week 6 I played a couple of 9 hole rounds then after that was back to walking 18.

Theoretically it’s possible, but you won’t know until after your surgery.

I helped a friend reshingle his roof about that long after surgery.
I had an easy recovery though.

3weeks is a little fast for golf. I was practicing putting by week 2. I do not think you will be able to swing hard. I would cancel your trip , especially if you cannot attemp to play decent, we 6 playing 18, week7 walking 18

Depends on how much swelling you have.I had quite a bit and don’t think I could have played after three weeks, but some guys had little to no swelling and got back to normal quickly.Good luck!

I'm just short of two weeks post surgery. I could golf now. I'm 59 and healthy.

I was playing championship golf courses after 3 weeks.
Actually helped because is slowed my backswing down and kept me from over swinging..
Had a cart didn't walk!
