being "completely impotent" is an ideal way to be before implant. It means that you have nothing to lose by getting the implant.

Agree with tangerine.
I still had decent erections with no other help but my Peyronies made intercourse near impossible.
I feel that although it was a necessity, I had a lot to lose of it went wrong. Only 16 days post op so still early days .

You sure sound like an implant candidate -- is money an issue? i.e. at your young age can you get insurance coverage?

Make sure you get a VED and use it daily before implant surgery.
If you don't have Peyronies or other crap, you really shouldn't lose length.
I have actually gained 1/2" now, and still have a little discomfort in the tips.
Maybe I can squeeze out a little more gain.

I was not able to get an erection usable penetrative sex with medication or injections. Best that would happen was a bit of swelling. As was said you need to start VED therapy if you are considering an implant. There are several good articles in the general section of this forum in the documents worth reading thread about VED use pre surgery. Erections daily are necessary for penis health and to keep the tissue elastic. When this stops no matter what the reason size loss begins. Size loss can also happen during and after surgery. There are articles on this also in that thread in the general section of this forum. Some very low volume surgeons will size the cylinders conservatively and will also have very long waits for activation.

Not fully impotent, occasional morning erections but they would go away as soon as I even tried to do anything with it. Was on Viagra then Trimix then Quadmix. When everything failed had to take the final step. Happy I did.
If you're considering an implant don't hesitate to ask the doc any questions you might have. No need to be shy because they do this day in and day out and I'm sure they have heard it all.
