first deflate

So i was cleared by my Dr yesterday to start gentle cycling. I am based 500 miles from him so we were going to have a zoom call this week to go through what to do but he is very busy and can't see me ( virtually ) until next week.

i am/was 50-60% pumped and am desperate to be deflated!

Anyway, i ran myself a hot bath last night. Had a feel around, found the deflate button and attempted to deflate. It was a struggle but i got down to about 25% I'd say although it felt like a smaller erection, i still couldn't really manoeuvre the penis in any direction other than upwards. i woke up this morning and i seem to be similar to where i was pre deflation.

i am not planning on cycling until the weekend, when i will be almost 3 weeks post op but i am desperate to have a relatively normal flaccid again. The pain is am getting from my clothes putting pressure on my dorsal curvature is not nice!

Can anyone point in the right direction and tell me what i'm doing wrong?!

Thankyou.

It took me about six weeks out to even start to feel comfortable! The implant material will soften up with cycling and use.Be patient and it will get better!

Did they give you the key ring model? I have studied that like crazy and it has helped me, though I still have a puzzlement at times. It’s a flawed design in that the cylindrical portion is not that much different in length from the diameter of the cylinder — so am I squeezing the cylinder or squeezing the ends of the cylinder where the button is?
are you in pain?

I’ve not got the key chain yet but I have been told it was posted to me on Monday so I might get it today.

I’m not in pain really, uncomfortable yes, scrotum is fine but a little tender and my glands are a little bruised. I assume where the tips go into the glands.

I don’t want to start cycling until I am confident I can deflate fully

Hang in there. you're in the worst of it right now. Will feel awkward for a few months 6-12 months all will be well, especially after you start putting it to use. Good luck!

Oh I realise that dhiker, I just don’t understand why I couldn’t deflate.

Hopefully if I get the keychain this week it might make things clearer for me.

Deflating was the hardest thing for me at first. Couldn't find the button, swelling and soreness made things hurt. Will say a hot bath is where I did a lot of my inflating/deflating the first few months.
The cylinders on my Titan are still kind of firm even after 2+ years, my flaccid is much larger than even in my prime. Switched to boxer briefs so I didn't hang out of briefs. Refuse to go swimming anymore.
To deflate I hold the button, wrap a layer of towel over my shaft and squeeze moving head to base. It takes about 20-30 seconds to feel like most of the fluid has returned to the reservoir. Then a squeeze or two on the pump to lock it so fluid can't just flow back.

Thanks so much old guy that’s really helpful.

I thought a pump after deflation would solve the issue but I haven’t tried the pump yet as I’m worried I won’t be able to deflate.

I’ll get in the bath again tonight and try again!
