10th. You seem to be doing well in a short period of time.
My stitches are at the base of my penis and my scrotum. They will dissolve on their own. I was basically 90% flaccid before the surgery. I tried all sorts of pills, pumps, gels and injections, but all I got was a partial erection that did not last.
All info that I have is that is an AMS 70 MS, do not know the cm, and honestly, I don't care. I am over the moon with the results. I do not need to be John Holmes, I just want to be able to have intercourse again with my wife. I am 60 years old, diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2018 with a Gleason score of 9. Did 39 sessions of radiation that rendered my penis useless.
My doctors at the University of Miami (Urologist and Oncologist) were just concerned and focused on my recovery from cancer. The last hurdle they were worried about was my erection. Being that subsequent PSA's have come back negative, the next step was to deal with my erection.
To be honest with you, I consulted with the Urology team at University of Miami and they seemed very conservative, so, I decide to see other implant specialist in Miami. I visited Dr Perito, but I left with some reservations because the sales pitch was too aggressive. Listen, my Daughter in Law is a doctor and she held my hand since the beginning and laid down all the facts of what the reality is in regards to implants. So, being told that I was going to be bigger and thicker regardless of my anatomy seemed to boiler room to me.
I did see another doctor in Miami and felt again that I was being promised more than what I was going to get. Unfortunately, my insurance did not cover the implant and I was looking to be out of pocket $22K. I was going to make the most educated and well informed decision of my life.
I opted with the University of Miami and Dr. Houser only promised me that I was going to be the best that my anatomy permitted me and that it was going to be gradual and that if I followed his instructions, I will heal fast and be be as comfortable as possible with this new device.
It's been 3 ½ weeks (going on 4 this coming Friday) and I feel FANTASTIC. I walk 2 miles a day, cycle (pumps) twice a day. No more Motrim, Tylenol for pain. Just so happy with my decision.
I truly believe that April 18th I will pop my cherry with my wife and enjoy our renewed sex life again.
Dr. Hauser mentioned that I should not worry about the outcome at this stage. As my wife and I have sex, she will be the best one to do the Perito exercise as oppose to doing it to myself. If your significant other is as understanding and cooperating as mine, it's is going to be really fun as she bends my dick in every direction.
I am telling my friend, it is all heaven from here and on. BEST decision on my life in regards to my state of mind, my soul and sex life. I PROMISE YOU THIS, the only regret you'll have is not having this done sooner.
Any questions or concerns you (or anyone else) can call me. Good luck and welcome to the Bionic Club
