For all you golfers who had an implant procedure, how long after the implant were you able to golf with your buddies without them knowing? You know, driving in the cart, swinging your clubs, reaching down for your ball, putting your golf shoes on, etc. My procedure was on 3-24-22 and I'm not seeing myself on the links for awhile. I need some inspiration and success stories from the brotherhood.

I did 18 holes walking 3.5 weeks in.
Although a little gingerly.
Told my mates I had a hernia op.

It really comes down to healing and when you can get it tucked in your underware comfortable!Inplayed about six weeks out.

I had my surgery first week of March (last year), and first walked 9 holes 5 weeks later. Was back to playing 18 and riding the cart a week or 2 after that.

I’m in the northeast so it was easy to blame the weather on taking it easy and not playing for a little bit

Surgeon advised no sex or golf for 6 weeks. I made it on the sex instructions, but failed and started back golfing in 3 weeks.

I'm not sure I fully understand the original question. Nobody else would have noticed anything for me at any point after surgery. The only issue was at what point I was healed enough to do it safely and with tolerable pain. For me, 21 days after surgery I played 18 in a cart with no pain of any kind. I could have walked, in retrospect, but I was cautious. Played 18 holes walking 25 days after. Both were blessed by the nurse in the doctors office.

That said, from what I've read over the years everyone recovers at different rates, sometimes greatly different. Seems to me you are the only one who can answer when you're ready.

But that was all 10 years ago.

I know... debbie downer here...

Did you ask your doctor or surgeon??

FYI After 3 years, the implant works great as a driver...
