Any feedback on Dr. Lawrence Levine (Chicago)?

I live in Chicago and see an implant in my future. I'm willing to travel anywhere in the country (considering Clavell right now), but I think there would be benefit in staying local if the quality of surgeon is all the same. I'm thinking of follow-up appts, being able to drive 15 minutes to see my doctor to get activated for cycling, etc., vs doing it remotely or taking a flight.
I'm just not as familiar with Levine but have heard he's pretty well known.
Has anyone gotten implanted by Dr Lawrence Levine in Chicago, and if so, any feedback? I'm specifically wanting to hear if he's known for preserving length/girth and aggressive about sizing, etc.
Thanks.

Just offering some advice..... you will NOT enjoy traveling (sitting, driving, or hell no - FLYING, after implant surgery)! I recommend doing research and finding a credible and experienced urologist within your commuting (2 hour drive) area. I was fortunate to find one here in the tri-state area and only 40 minutes away.

All I know about him are things I have read. He's high volume and very well respected. At one time Levine was considered one of the best in the world. He doesn't do self-promotion and not seeking fame. Only negative I read was that he comes off very direct with not much bedside manner. He's worth you at least considering and meeting with. In fact, I was going to him, but he's 5+ hours away and it was during the pandemic. Found a surgeon locally I really like and I'm happy with the job he did.

I saw Dr. Levine a few weeks ago for a consult. I liked his bedside manner and he was very personable. Unlike another urologist I saw he actually looked at my dick. I am going to try Botox with him and if that doesn’t work I will either stay with injections or consider the implant.

As you probably know, there are several medical studies that support the beneficial effect of Botox injection coupled with injections. Very hopeful and interested in your results. The studies report success with 50 units of Botox injected into each side of the penis.

Actually this is the first I’ve ever heard of it. Been through the mill so to speak , I’ll post a thread at some point. He mentioned Botox 100 so I’m not sure if he meant 50 in each side or 100 in each side. He ordered it for me just last week and I should go and get it soon. $800 for the vial and then bill insurance for the injection. I hope this works. I’m about at the end of my rope.

Interesting. I just read how Botox injections work so my understanding is that it wouldn't help men with arterial insufficiency or venous leaks. It seems like it's intended more for men with psychological ED.
" However, the reports prove considerable improvement of the penis sexual function both caused by the psychological or psychogenic erectile dysfunction factors. "
What did Dr. Levine say about how it would help you Red? Is your ED physical or psychological?

Here is the most recent medical study: (the newest Botox competitor but same analysis)
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9030535/The theory is Botox or its competitors “allows the penile smooth muscle to relax and blood to fill the penis”.
It has been researched since 2017 but is nor widely known. Some “Male Wellness Clinics” offer it. Not sure of the pricing but $800 sounds about right for the retail price for the Botox alone.
Not sure of you mean your stem cells or a donor’s stem cells. If you mean PRP medical studies support that it can be of benefit for some but not all. It also depends upon the quality of your blood platelets (if you are referring to your own blood as the donor). Many people are doing PRP plus Exosomes injections but they are quite expensive.
Botox should have no effect upon an implant. Botox typically lasts for 3-6 months.
Good luck.
