What a great forum, what a great bunch of guys here. Today is day five post surgery.........I went to see the doc two days ago, and he confirmed what you all said....best to have penis up, but not the end of the world to have it down....keeping it up aids in reducing swelling.......however, for me, the pain was too great to keep it up, so it's down...... I have been resting as much as possible, but also trying to walk as much as I can tolerate......my testicles are what's causing pain...the swelling has made them rub up against my legs......and that is painful. I have taken to rubbing vaseline all over the area, and just discovered that if I put a rolled up sock on each side of the testicles, it helps too.......
Doc told me not to worry about the curve.....alot of men's penis curve right/left.......of course, I never knew that!
OK.......Overall, less than a week from surgery, I feel pretty damn good...........the penis, as I said in an earlier post, is pumped one time........and I am very impressed with the firmness that is displayed with just that one pump....I have a feeling that when I am completely healed, I am going to have alot of fun with my new "toy."
For you guys ahead of me, what's next? When does the swelling go away? When will my testicles be back to normal?
Oh, just last night I had the courage to try to find the pump in my testicles. Doc had told me that I was to try to pull it down as often as I could so that it would rest in the lower part of the sack. He told me that I shouldn't even try until two weeks post op however, ...Well, I did try last night, but really couldn't even find it........ should I be concerned??

Re: what's next
Maybe you should look into the type of underware you are using. A number of us use the jockey pouch brief with the "H" front closure. They worked for me and I still use them. Some guys wear compression shorts and some a jock strap. I tried all of these. I did not try walking any more than I needed but mainly I think it just takes time for the swelling to go down. Usually our scrotums start off like a grapefruit, but believe it or now it will return to normal, except of cousre there is that pump in there and it, I think, always will be in a fight to some extent with your little buddies. It took about a month in my case before it got where I could find things, like my pumps ( I got a AUS done at the same time and it has a small pump too). Mainly just now, you should leave it all alone and if walking hurts then I would stop any extra walking. About your present firmness, it is probably mostly just swelling, however later you might be surprised to see how firm it can be when fully operational. Glad to hear you are doing well.

Re: what's next
Hey,GATTER, I'm at a little over 6 weeks post-op and the scrotum is back to being good...no pain, no swelling, no bruising.
My surgeon is gonna get me started on the inflating/deflating procedure next week...he's a great guy, very consevative and has done a ton of these procedures. As he told me, Gatter, don't push it, take your time to let it heal properly, have patience and you'll be really happy with the results. You're doing fine....keep it up ( no pun intended)......JOE
