Became a bionic man

This Tuesday, 3 May 2022, I became a bionic man and joined the bionic brotherhood by receiving the AMS CX device. I am a 69 years old male in great health and physical condition, but I have had ED for almost 15 years. Pills worked initially, but always had very strong adverse effects. Then they stopped working altogether. Did Trimix for 6 years until I noticed penile curvature and started to develop PD. I knew something had to change. Decided some time ago that one day I might need a penile implant. Came upon this site and joined some time ago, however only posted once. Anyways, thought I share my experiences so others may benefit from them like I have from experiences that I have read on FT. I had my surgery with Dr. Kai Li at Kaiser Permanente. While I won’t know for some time what my fully pumped size will be, things look good and I am optimistic on a good outcome. Minimal pain and discomfort. Greatest discomfort so far has been peeing after the catheter was removed during surgery. Things are improving daily and can hardly wait to try out my new toy. More later….

Zoso22, by the way, I should have said that my procedure was infrapubic and the incision site looks good, no pain there at all. Some discomfort now mainly from pulling down the pump. Wishing you a pain free surgery with great outcome.

Thank you Zman, I’m having the infrapubic also. I’ll follow your post to see how yours is going as I’ll be just behind you.

Congrats Zman! Wish you a quick and smooth recovery. Dr. Li is an excellent implant surgeon. After almost 1 1/2 year, I am very happy with the outcome.

Thank you all for your encouraging comments. It’s great to have this website and learn from other users comments and experiences.

AST, you know you are the one to receive special thanks since your very good recommendations of Dr. Kai Li got me to schedule an appointment with him. My first meeting with him was very positive and decided to get the implant from him. My surgery experience couldn’t have been any better. Little more than a week later things are looking good. Can’t wait to start cycling and using my new toy. Once I figure out how to attach a photo I will post one.
