Hi all,
So this might be a bit of a sensational thread title, but I recently had a call with a top urologist in the US and he told me something that I, as a 30 year old single male, found pretty disturbing. He told me that he would NOT recommend an implant at this time despite pills not working for me due to the fact that "most men without a consistent partner do not EVER use their implant for intercourse".
I was surprised when he told me this, but being that I was simply referred to this urologist by a friend for a phone call to discuss potential treatments which he would not be benefitting from financially I have no reason to doubt him.
How true do you believe this to be? Do implants have less of a positive impact than we're led to believe on this forum? Any young, single men who have been implanted able to weigh in on this? It makes me hesitant to move forward with the surgery, despite having what might be the best implant surgeon in the world be my potential surgeon.
Any input on this would be much appreciated, thanks everyone.
Is it true that the majority of men without partners do not use their implants?

I can only give you my point of view as an implanted 58 year old. I wish I had had this implant since before I had ED. I would’ve absolutely loved to have been able to last to infinity and beyond through my post marital relationships. I’m re married and my wife loves the implant.

I may as well be single as my wife has mostly given up on intercorse. But I jack off almost every day and it is 1000% better than whacking off with a wet noodle 2 inches long.

It's all in the perspective.
Two things are required for sex to happen. A willing partner & an erection. You're not getting any with a limp dick. At least with an implant you're half way there. Right now you're sitting on the porach just barking at the passing cars.
Sorry, some American analogies in that statement.

Three things, actually. First is desire for sex. If that's gone, then the rest doesn't matter. That's what happened to me - I got an implant 14 years ago, but had a stroke that destroyed my libido. I have never had one minute's fleeting interest in using it.
Dave, 80, Maryland - Implant (Titan) 2008 by Dr. Andrew Kramer (failed Sept 2020) - never used due to a stroke that, among other things, ended my sex life.
Life is not the way it's supposed to be, it's the way it is.

I was reminded of what Kasper Gutman said to Sam Spade in "The Maltest Falcon".
Mathematically correct". But the point was that it was irrelevant to the division of the profits from finding the falcon.
If you don't have a partner, using ANYTHING for intercourse is a zero percent portion of activity. So, mathematically correct, but irrelevant.
Some men get a feeling of sexual power and presence merely from the fact of having a weighty protuberance emanating from their groin. That feeling is not to be discounted, even without a partner.
Men do not have to have a consistent partner to make adequate use of an implant. Inconsistent partners are quite adequate.
I would look to motives for this surgeon's discouraging statement. Perhaps it was a test to see if you are serious about the implant or an effort to elicite mor personal information about your needs.
I recall (but do not have the link, sorry) another thread early this year mentioning a female medico (not a full-fledged urological surgeon, thankfully) who flatly told her patient that he would be smaller in size after the implant and seemed to activly discourage him from pursuing the matter. I don't know if that thread would have any relevance to your question, but mention it because it did seem to be similar.

I am 40 and married for 13 years I never satisfied my wife through penetration. I got my implant to ve sexually active and have intercourse with my wife. I don't know why your doctor said that but it's not true Maybe not entirely I am thinking implant might make us vulnerable and explore outside marriage and forget why we got it in first place

Bro what imput do you need, you heard it right from the surgeon?
Because the surgeon is wrong? Perhaps the O.P. is asking if any of us have any explanation to show reasoning the surgeon has that would make it right.

I'm 32, single, got implanted in June 2021 when I was 31. The implant has been absolutely awesome and worlds better than freaking ED. I've been with 6 women since getting the implant less than a year ago, and surely more to come before I settle down and pick out a wife. Go for it dude, it has its downsides but it has been a revolution in my life.
Early 30s with ED for years from penis enlargement stretching and jelqing. Implant by Dr Eid on 24 June 2021 with a Titan 24cm with +1cm RTE on one side and -1cm cut off on the other side
