Penuma + Penile Implant

Some background: I am currently 48. My wife passed away in August, 2021 due to CV-19 (she was fully vaccinated but immunocompromised due to cancer). After about 9 months of depression over her loss, I am now ready to date again, but have a huge barrier in the way - I have permanent ED due to uncontrolled diabetes. It became permanent in late 2019 just as my wife was diagnosed with her cancer. I did not pursue medical help for it at the time because I was dealing with her illness and, for good reason, she was uninterested in sex anyway due to her health. Although she achieved remission from cancer in 2020, her life long intense depression and anxiety intensified with the onset of the pandemic and there was no desire on her end for intimacy the remainder of her life.

The ED I suffer with resulted in not only the inability to have an erection but also in significant shrinkage. I have used the pills to no avail and after I have minor eye surgery in August intend to consult Dr. Lawrence Levine in Chicago for an implant. From what I have read, Dr. Levine is a top surgeon in this arena and also does implants for Penuma.

My question concerns whether is it even possible to have a Penuma implant alongside a penile implant for ED. Is that something they even do? And if so, what has anyone heard about Penuma along side a penile implant? If they won't implant both, what can I expect/do if I only have a penile implant to ensure maximum length post-operation? I have not measured current flaccid size (too depressed to do it), but I am guessing 2 inches flaccid due to diabetes shrinkage.

I realize I won't be well-endowed post operation and would be satisfied at this point with adequate size and girth. Any suggestions/expectations are appreciated.

It'd be a great question for Dr Levine to ask if he implants the inflatable implant as well as penuma at the same time, but my personal opinion would be that it'd be best to just get the inflatable implant first and cycle that regularly for the first year or so, then reevaluate about getting the penuma. The inflatable implant will expand your dick due to the pressure from cycling so you may feel comfortable with your size after a year or so.

Penuma implant only increases girth not the length. Due to your diabetes you are not a candidate for any penile lengthening procedure. Use extensive traction and VED for one year before proceeding to implant. In that way you can gain up to 1 inch.

I had significant shrinkage (atrophy) prior to getting my titan implant. I’ve had 2 heart attacks, open heart surgery and 4 lower back surgeries. The shrinkage was very annoying. I’ve regained full 6.5 inches in length and 5.5 girth (more than pre implant). Both my wife and I are very happy with the implant. I had 2.5-3 years of no intercourse and now I’m making up for lost time.

How much length had you lost? What was the reason for you ED? How much length you regained and what was really helped you to regain the lost length?

I saw Dr. Levine early May for a consult. Although we discussed alternate therapy first and I have decided to try Botox as perhaps the last stop before implant we did discuss implant. He did not bring up or mention the Penuma to me, so not 100% sure if he offers it. I did like his manner and I was happy that he was the first urologist who actually looked at my dick to discuss my issue before bringing up surgery. There is another member on here who had surgery done by him and he’s very satisfied with his results so he seems to be the top doctor for this in the Chicagoland area. I should be seeing him soon once the Botox arrives.

My shrinkage was due to venous leak and my bad luck I guess, I gained back 100% of my length and not sure how much girth because I’d never measured it but enough for my wife to notice it during sex. She used to be able to take my dick to the base orally but not anymore

I used to quite frequently read the Phalloboards message group, and there was a lot of discussion on Penuma on those. One surgeon in particular, think it was Dr. Elist seemed to have a bad reputation with doing them in California, and pretty much every person that got it eventually had to have it removed. From pain to movement of the device to erosions through the skin and infections. Maybe things have changed and maybe it was just him as a surgeon, but would be careful with that.

Do not do it. You're much better off doing a lot of traction for about a year. Get something like the penimaster pro. I prefer the totalman rod extender.

Be consistent, the more the better you can gain 1-2 inches. Then get the implant. After that get girth enhancing injections with something like HA.

This will get you the best results.

The traction device hasnt been proved to increase size, NOTHING HAS BEEN PROVEN TO INCREASE SIZE!

beat you can do is use a penis pump for 2 months before the procedure to preserve what you have.
