I am yet to see many brothers here in North Cal(in this forum).. Most of the outstation patients come here specifically for certain doctors ( who are mostly PPO either in North cal or generally otherwise).. Havent heard much of HMO providers.. If you are stuck with HMO (if thats your plan/ provider) you dont have a choice.. but if you do a choice do yourself a favor and go with Dr. Karpman..

I'm in southern Cal. and I had a great job done at Kaiser down here by Dr. Rhee. I'm sure they have good urology doctors up there. If you are a Kaiser member just call and make an appointment to see one. If you have any questions about my experience please PM me, I'm happy to show and tell.

I was a patient of Dr. Karpman and I have the highest regards for him as a surgeon and dedication to men's health. Not to mention, he has a large client base on this site. He recently gave me a consultation and recommended the Titan for my AMS replacement that failed after 9yrs of fun (well post recovery fun that is). I would definitely go back to him if money was not an issue. I now have Kaiser in Nor. Cal. and I am scheduled for my replacement with Dr. Weichen Xu in Roseville. Dr. Xu will use the scrotal approach and allowed me to choose the Titan. Both doctors agree on the Titan providing more girth. I'll be honest, I am concerned but have no evidence to say Dr. Xu is not fully capable. Maybe he does not have as many procedures "under his belt". All doctors started at 0, even the best. Right? I will put my prayers to work and have faith in God for a successful replacement. I wish the best for all men in their journey from ED and intimacy freedom.

I’m 9 months post replacement. My doctor performed infrapubic approach and recovery pains where minimal; frozen peas and ibuprofen were all I needed. I did have some infection at the incision but it went away. We enjoyed it for about 7 months but now it seems the right cylinder moved and is not in the correct position. Please read my post “Cylinder not in Corpora” I appreciate your comment.
