Hello Guys,
Finally, I'm at 6 weeks post-surgery today-thank G-D! I wonder if anyone remembers how long they felt a stinging (poking) of the cylinders in the head of their dick? I'm so tired of this feeling. Protocol now is 15-minute hot bath every day for 3 weeks- to soften the pump. Then inflate for 1 hour and deflate...then continue inflating every day for 3 months!
Wow, it's a lot. All manageable, I would just like the head pain/poke to leave. Also, still waiting for the pump and stuff in the ball sac to soften and for me not to notice it's there. Anyone remember the time frame?
Great answers of FT without having to bother the doctor.
All replies appreciated!

I’m following this as I’m almost at 2 months post op. The things that bother me are, tip head of my dick is still pretty sensitive like taking a shower I can’t let the shower water hit it, I get intermittent pain on the shaft and the pump and the sack are not always happy as where the tubes rub on the shaft where it runs up to the reservoir is still sore. Uber numb cream is a god send, you can get it on Amazon, just was it off before you get a BJ, that’s another story

Zosos, sorry to hear your still having pains. You’re pretty well hung so gravity might have some to do with it. Very soon you’ll be pain free. I had the first implant done and when the shower hit the pump in my scrotum it was horrible. They revised it and moved it down and back but it’s once again forward. I’m 9 months post and nothing hurts at all. Best of all that forward pump swings and hits the wife in all the right places.

I think it was 6 weeks before I could sit in a dining room chair. Showering was tough for a couple months because the tip of my penis was so tender. I took a hot bath almost every morning for 4-5 months once doc gave me the go ahead to soak. It took me to 6 months to feel like things were fine down there, and a few more to be comfortable with the new equipment. Now it's just part of me.

I think everyone should agree that each person will have a different experience. Some of us will have more difficult surgeries, each surgeon has his way of doing things, each of us heal differently and feel pain differently, and so on.
The big thing to remember is we all get through it and like the last poster said, it just becomes part of you.

Thought I had answered but I guess it didn't post. The short answer is that everyone heals differently Etc. But that being said as I recall it was about 3 months when I finally realized that I wasn't feeling my IPP. It had become essentially part of me it had become invisible. That moment was very comforting

Interesting timelines… not the easiest recovery for sure!

Ice ice and more ice for the first 4-5 days. Can’t overdo it. The first week is rough but after that it eases quickly.

After 3 months post surgery I am basically pain free both inflated and deflated. That does not mean that I don't know it is there.
