Getting an implant can be understandably daunting. Once you feel like you have read over everything, some new information comes to surface.
Is there any important information that may not be discussed frequently on this platform you wish you knew before you had your surgery?
Any additional information you think might be worth sharing (regardless how random it seems).

The only thought that comes into my mind is antibiotics. If you have any adverse reaction to antibiotics, let your surgeon know. The Coloplast Titan cylinders have antibiotic impregnated on them. My reaction left a burning sensation for 4 months all down my shaft.

Hopefully that was the extent of it and there wasn't any damage.

No other issues. Felt like my shaft was sunburned. After inflating it would get worse. Never followed up with my doc because COVID was just starting and the world was shut down, so it seemed. But there is a medicine available to lessen or eliminate that sensation. I used Aspercream.

I think this has been well covered but not well enough never well enough. In the Realty World they say location location location. But in the IPP world we say doctor doctor doctor. If you don't have the right doctor you will have to live with that for the rest of your life. Choose carefully
