Has anyone ever not been or had trouble deflating their implant. What did you do? If the implant is partially inflated is there any harm in this?
My doctor said if I can’t deflate the implant I’ll have to come to the office so they can. Or an emergency room. I’m wondering if a partial inflation might be different.

I don't think there is any harm in a long-term partial inflation, if it isn't painful. I often put 2 or 3 pumps in my dick because I like the appearance better.

On one had doctors leave men partially inflated up to 8 weeks post op. But not fully. So you need to deflate at least some. If you don't then there would be a risk of erosion. And you may cut off some circulation. And there is a paper on the coffin effect about the longer men wait to activate the higher the risk of lost size. So cycling is important. However I have used a few pumps to prevent my device from auto inflation and to smooth out the kinks early on. And I also will put in a few pumps to prevent full deflation and my cylinder tips working down into my shaft too far. And as said 3-4 just fells nice walking around every once in a while. Now I have read that men with Titan implants are the same or near the same size deflated as inflated. So in that case it is more a reduction in pressure than size. So if the Titan does not cause any damage at the same or near the same size I don't see how a little inflation of my LGX will hurt anything. But that is what I did and do and others may see this a lot different. And I am not a doctor it is just the way my brains understands this.

Re: Cycling
I was partially inflated for the first 6 weeks.
I was then cleared for cycling on my own as my surgeon was 500 miles away. The first three time I tried to cycle I couldn’t find the deflate button and had to go to a and e to be deflated. The pain at 6 weeks being inflated for more than 30 minutes let alone 12+ hours is unbearable.
I eventually went to london to see my Coloplast rep who was amazing and showed me where the button was. Since then I’ve had no issues.
I often go about my daily life with a few pumps, if I go out for a night out I pump up to 60% to make it look like im well endowed haha.
Being fully inflated too soon for too long will not only be very painful but will also increase the chances of not being able to fully deflate when you e healed and will also cause the coffin effect where by the implant won’t be able to fully stretch out when you cycle

Implanted by Mike Fraser in feb 2022 due to a 80 degree dorsal curvature. 18cm Titan - way undersized. 8’ pre Peyronies, 6’ pre implant - currently 6’.
Re: Cycling
Actually the Coffin effect is from being partially inflated after surgery for extended amounts of time without cycling. Then there is a Pseudo-capsule that forms a coffin around the cylinders that is very difficult or impossible to change to restore lost size. This is why early activation (cycling) was shown to reduce size loss from surgery. And why the well-known doctors for the most part have early activation. And why my local doctors who 4 years ago said I would be 1-2" shorter post op with a 8 week wait for activation. Makes sense that if you are left at 50 to 80% inflated for 8weeks then everything will heal and scar tissue develop at that size.
The key here is cycling not the partial inflation. The issue with deflation is not to be left 100% inflated for too long. So if you start cycling and inflate to 100% and you cannot deflate then you need to get help. This is the difference in the 100% inflation and the 50-80% inflation the doctor leaves you at post op. I know that my glans get cold after about 30 minutes of 100% inflation so there is some loss of circulation. But as long as you can deflate enough to release that pressure then you are ok or men would not be left inflated for long periods of time after surgery. Again the key here is to cycle as early as your doctor permits and do the work according to the protocol given to you by your doctor. If you want to activate early you need to find a doctor that dose so and have him/her do your surgery. Of course this is just the way my brain understands this and I am not a doctor.
