I’m 4 weeks out from implant surgery. Just started cycling. Still have considerable pain/discomfort. My surgeon wants me to cycle for 30 days. Two times a day 30 minutes in tub. Did anyone start feeling less pain after starting cycling?

Early onset ED. 6 years trimix. Titan coloplast.

Did your pain lessen once you started cycling?

I’ve been cycling for 11 days. The pain improves. I start slowly so the tissue has a chance to expand and catch up. Then I do the “exercise” and bend it. Pump up more, continue this until it’s maxed out. Hold until it hurts too much, release some, relax, do it again! It seems to be working.

I was cycling in shower and a few 15/20 minute sessions 3-4 times daily beginning in Week Three. I was cleared for Shangri-La by Week Five. Haven't looked back :D

Good luck. The first few times of cycling are uncomfortable. (not painful). If you are experiencing a heightened pain from cycling - see/seek your physicians review.

I was kind of skeptical that cycling would be the defining event of the implant process but for me, it really was.

I kind of think that some of the pain associated with it is more psychological and less physical. I know I’ll probably get roasted for that idea, but bear with me.

You’ve had your junk sliced and diced. You will never have a normal erection again….the fact that for whatever reason your erections were either crummy or nonexistent before doesn’t matter. You now rely on a prosthetic device. This threatens the core idea of manliness and some folks let the discomfort grow into big time pain.

I looked at the whole cycling/pain thing with a jaundiced eye. I refused to see it as pain. I looked at it as stretching my dick back to its full potential. You remember how right before you’d jizz, how your cock would seem to get harder than it ever was? I would squeeze that bulb five or ten extra little squeezes and focus on how it had just gotten harder than it had been before.

Yea, after a while it would get uncomfortable and I’d deflate only to repeat the process with frequency and some aggressiveness. It took a while but the size (basically) all came back. I love the way it works. I love the way it looks. I don’t feel like it’s unnatural in any way.

After 2 1/2 years I still cycle for the hell of it, a few times a day. Sometimes you just pop a boner. It’s called being male.

I’m much the same as others. It started off a bit uncomfortable and the exercise is still a little bit uncomfortable. I’m 4 months post op this coming Monday. Cycling the device itself now is actually enjoyable. I like the feeling of my penis being hard again. I cycle twice a day in the shower and at bedtime.
