Week 3 since implant

Postby Mr Timex » Fri Aug 19, 2022 11:18 am

This is my third week since implant. The pain in my scrotum is gone. Days 15, 16, 17 & 18 have been uneventful. My whole body is feeling stronger. The pubic gait is regrowing and a bit ticklish. The head of my member seems alive. It is itching to show off.
I’ll see my surgeon next Tuesday and hopefully I’ll learn how to operate my device.

Feeling hopeful for a healthy, revived, sex life.

Great news. The fact that you're pain free may allow him to activate your prosthesis and instruct you how to inflate and deflate it. Congrats! I still have scrotal swelling and soreness myself, and my next follow up is scheduled for Thursday Sept. 22. I was disappointed that I wasn't able to proceed with activation during my Wednesday appointment, but he's probably right that it would have been too painful. It is what it is. I just have to be patient!
ED since using SSRI antidepressants. Unable to maintain erection sufficient for penetration. Tried PDE5's, VED, injections. AMS 700 CX implanted 8/1/2022, penoscrotal by Dr. McVary, Loyola medical center. 15cm + 1.5 and 1.0 RTE's. 65 ml reservoir.

Nice to hear healing is going well. Once you get activated, you'll love it.

My doc (Dr. Kansal) scheduled a 5 day followup and another followup 4 weeks later to do the activation, the NP I met on the 5 day appointment said I'd need to be pain free before that appointment and to reschedule it if I was still in pain.. So far so good, pain in minimal, so I'm hoping for activation September 6th! Surgery was done at NCH in Arlington Heights, no complaints at all so far..
