what are the cons of the system

Postby frank66665 » Sat Aug 20, 2022 12:49 pm

when they say ... the implant take it when you have tried all the options, what are the cons of the implant compared to a natural erection albeit with ups and downs?

Let me count the ways.

Irreversible. If a true cure for impotence/E.D. comes along next week, implanted men (having had their cavernosum tissues destroyed/removed or otherwise terminally comromised) would not be able to avail themselves of the true cure. Implant is a really good treatment for E.D. but it does not actually cure the underlying cause.

I will add more ways later. Right now I am being interrupted.

Cons:
-extra ball in your sack
-women not accepting it or being weirded out
-being too hard/unnatural, dick doesn't flex/bend quite like it used too
-feeling reservoir in your abs sometimes
-sleeping with a pillow between legs
-the time it takes to pump up maybe..

None of these really bother me or have never been a problem for me. Just trying to answer your question and lost cons I can think of.

So far im more than happy with it. I've had some of the best sex and can do positions i couldn't have done before now that I have the implant. I wish I would've done it when I was 18 and started my problems...

@Lost Sheep thanks, it would be very useful to know the cons, more than anything else to be prepared what to expect, I would like to know for example if there are difficulties in having sex in some positions, sitting and staying seated, or bending over like taking something under a very low table while working , wearing a condom without getting hurt, I heard a user hurt his glans and tips, painful rubbing, etc etc

Is your reservoir visible or can you only barely feel it? Are you lean with no fat pad?

As for the being too hard/unnatural aspect is this something a partner pointed out or something that can say be adjusted not to be noticed?

My perspective. Erection hardness can easily be adjusted. I can't imagine my wife ever pointing out it was too hard. Too soft, that is a problem worthy of a mention from her.
Pick your priorities. A hard erection wins all arguments.
IMHO, some members search really hard for an excuse to hate implants. Are they perfect, absolutley not. From my pov, they just need to be better than what I have.

Cons...IMHO
Major surgery
Follow the surgeon/doctors' instructions...TO THE LETTER! (p.s., some men think they know more than the medical professionals)
Risk of infection after surgery.
No going back
Your dick and balls "can" be very swollen, black, and blue for several weeks after surgery (it was in my case)
About 3-5 days after surgery, you'll ask yourself...What the f... did I just do!
Oh, did I mention you'll be sore as hell?
When you totally deflate, the cylinder can be seen.
If you are a grower before, you will be a shower after. Get used to seeing a bulge in your Speedo
Potentially, some loss of sensitivity
I'll add more as I give this more thought,

When compared to a natural hard on, the only con I can think of is how I get hard.

It would be great if I could go back to my dick just getting hard because I'm excited. Having to pump up for my dick to be erect doesn't feel as natural.

But that's it for me. And it's a very small con, too.

Mr stmfttr is always a good resource for information. Concise and on point. However, maybe a pro point should be mentioned. You will no longer have a penis that is a useless appendage. You will be able to get an erection when ever you want. You will be able to have sex with yourself or anyone else when ever you want for as long as you want. You will feel better about yourself by leaps and bounds. Benefits out weight the risks in my opinion. Life altering event with life altering result. Good luck
