My maleable implant experience

Hi everyone
I’ve had a malleable Implant put in just over a year ago I’d like to share my experience of getting the implant and how it feels and use ability etc …..
Firstly at the time a year ago I was originally going in for the 2 piece ambicore implant which me and my surgeon and decided to go on …
Arrived at the hospital everything was fine and I was prepped for surgery and off I went …
After coming around from anesthetic my surgeon informed me that surgery didn’t go as planned (still to this day don’t know why). He said it was a sizing problem .. but it’s happened so no need to beat my mind up on this matter…
He informed me he had installed a maleable implant to keep structure of my penis and he said he was willing to now fit a three piece as a revision in the future … now to how I found the implant……
1. For the first 10 days after surgery there was considerable swelling which did concern me at the time as it looked like a little fat mushroom lol ..the pain was moderate but controlled by pain killers…
2. I used ice packs to give some relief I found personally in reduced swelling for a short period and that was a relief..
3.as my surgeon said the implant had to be left pointing out and not to be bent untill sutures and penis had healed ..I found this very very hard (excuse the pun ) as everything was rubbing against it and causing pain even bed clothes ..I’m not sure if every surgeon has the same instructions as this but it’s my experience..
4.when every thing had healed it took me about 7 weeks.. the penis had a rock solid core but I did find that I’d lost girth and about and inch in length and there was some loose skin around the shaft of my penis but I found as I got sexually aroused I still had some blood flow which filled the head and around the shaft of the implant ..this for me didn’t last long tho as I had a venous leak before implant and it still drained the blood away ..
5.this led to me getting less feeling having sex and my partner also has agreed it makes a difference when it fuller I found viagra dose help to keep blood in penis that bit longer..
6.I found usising a band at the base of the penis greatly helps the head glans of my penis stay hard which is a big bonus
7.after a year I’ve regained 3/4 of an inch after it’s settled down so that’s pleasing
8.overall my sex life isn’t great for a number of reasons my partner has hit the menopause and sex isn’t very frequent and it’s difficult to gauge the sex but going from not being able to have sex to able to have penatrive sex is massive this is my experience of the malleable implant but everybody is different and will get different results

Hello, how old are you and which malleable did you get? Whats about hiding it during the day, how is the feeling with permanent hard things in your penis? is it possible to make sports (cycling, running, swimming)? How long was you told will the malleable last approximately can it soften up that you cant use it any longer, lets say after 10years or something like that.

I am also thinking about the malleable cause I dont want revision surgeries.

Hi yes I’ll try and answer the best I can … yes I’m 45 years old lol .. I’ve been a diabetic since I was 5years old and had kidney failure as a result which had both damaged me sexually and after my double transplant it really put the end to my sexual response tried every option but nothing helped hence why I opted for the implant ..

I received the ams spectra maleable implant
During the day I try to bend my penis down to the side of my groin area when you first have the implant it takes time for it to become more maleable ..it’s very stiff difficult to bend untill it’s been used quite a bit I used to bend my for ten minuets each way everyday I found this help with a more moveable penis …it really depends i go swimming and find it’s quite noticeable as you leave the water but I suppose it’s how you perceive it I think I’ve had a few people looking just thinking I was hung well lol .. but running as long as you have very supportive briefs on a tuck it where you are comfortable it shouldn’t be a problem ..living with it day to day is somewhat of a challenge only recently I was out for a meal in a pair of jeans as I sat down the implant worked it’s way to a position which was quite uncomfortable ..I had to reposition myself as I stood up in a room full of diners lol ..the constant hardness for me isn’t an issue but my surgeon has left me with some loose skin around the implant rods which give me some relief from very tight hard feeling ..now I can still get some blood flow through to the glans and the loose skin will fill up and become tight and hard .he only put the implants in me until he was doing a three piece implant which is where i am now …I was told the rods should last around the 15 years mark but he said everybody is different it’s how much it’s used etc …the rods do become easier to bend over time but will still be hard for sex so I don’t think they become so soft that they are unusable …I see you don’t really want revisions which I get totally it was a big decision for me as at the end of the day your having your penis sliced open ..on all levels not pleasant but I’d have a serious think about which implant I’ve now got the malleable and after a lot of the research into the three piece … it’s a far superior implant you will be able to have sex and enjoy it with the malleable but it will as a whole be better with the three piece I’m not sure of your age but for me at 45 I think the revision is a no brainer
At 45 years old I’m having a revision to the three piece implant ams 700 cx for a number of reasons not because it’s unusable and dosnt do the job
My age …usually older gentlemen with dexterity problems have these implants and they serve them very well also people like me with surgery to there torso area can become an issue when placing a reservoir of fluid in the abdomen
Although malleable are very hard I can inflate the three piece to my maximum capacity and then deflate them which for me is much more livable with my daily routine ..but again everybody will be different

hello dwoody, I have several questions, I am currently 30 years old and unfortunately I lost the function of my penis after an accident. In my country, the inflatable implant is very expensive, so I decided on the malleable implant, I want to know.

1. Can I put on my underwear so that my penis points towards my navel to hide it?

2. What worries me the most is the issue of hiding it because of my work I have students all the time and excuse me looking, can you only hide it by bending the penis down?

4. Does it hurt to penetrate and can you have anal sex with the malleable implant?
