5 weeks out and I can only pumps 6 times before the bulb gets rock hard. A few weeks ago I could easily squeeze 14 times. Any thoughts as to what is going on??

Is your implant also rock hard? Or not fully inflated?

Yes, I have noticed this myself, Pump gets rock hard. I've started doing the bending exercises and that helps to get a few more squeezes on the pump. Also, for me it feels as if the pump is twice as large as it should be. I have another follow up in a few weeks and will ask my doctor about this. Maybe as early out as we are, 4 weeks for me, that there is no more room inside the cylinders for any fluid to go.

Possibly a kink in the hose. Try moving the pump around.

If your implant only takes 4-5 pumps to make it that hard your probably not getting it even close to completely deflated. Also as I’ve learned when I couldn’t pump it any harder with one hand I double up and put my left over my right who’s is squeezing the pump and can always get several more pumps making the implant like a steel rod. After this I can now(was very difficult and painful at first) bend it in all directions with a little force pressure, then can always get 3/4 small pumps in it.

Thanks for your reply Rider. As far as not deflating all the way, I think I'm doing it correctly. Shaft is limp but seems to re inflate by morning. So then I deflated again before cycling with similar results (only 6-7 pumps) so I don't know. Going back 9/13 for 2nd checkup, but I may the office Tuesday to talk with the nurse.

When my Titan was new I too could only get a few pumps to get hard. Over time ,however, I could get more and more pumps which gave me added length. I am not medical ,so can only offer my personal opinion as to why this occurred: VEDing ,Perito bending ,and possibly softening of the tubes and the pump? At any rate ,it took time -- maybe about 3 months -- but I got a very positive result.

Make sure after u deflate give the pump a slight squeeze to reverse the valve. That has worked for me tremendously.
