I can’t believe I’m considering an implant at 25

Postby Gadsiee » Tue Sep 06, 2022 4:31 am

Hello everyone.

I signed up here over a year ago. I’m 25 and have had ED my whole life. I think it’s a psychological/physiological combination. I have no diabetes or other conditions, I’m very lean and exercise moderately.

I get perfectly fine nocturnal erections, and also when initiating sex I get erect. However, I lose it without fail during penetration or blowjob. I was in a relationship from 20-23 in which I could have successfull sex about 50% of the time WITH viagra, without not a chance. I have had a few mindblowing sexual experiences on viagra where I would stay rock hard for multiple rounds but that was only very early in the relationship. My girlfriend never knew about my viagra usage. think we all know the struggle of having to anticipate “spontaneous” sex.
I was very blessed for having a gf who enjoyed sex, but never really craved it. This way there was never a lot of pressure for me and she almost never unexpectedly initiated sex (the times she did I failed).

I have since attempted a few tinder one night stands. Every time I get super hard for a very short time, but then lose it and just stay at 50% erect. It are truly traumazing experiences but I don’t have to tell you guys this.

I think it’s an arousal issue, because I often lose a bit of arousal during sex. Then again, I hear stories from other people about how they “think of their grandmother” to delay ejaculation, and they stay hard. So apparantly a healthy man is able to maintain an erection even when not being super aroused.

I’m seriously considering to use a bit of GHB for sex (the drug) because it’s supposed to make you horny without messing with erections.

If that doesn’t work I’m considering implant. The difficult thing for me is that I appear to have a (somewhat) functioning penis physically. However, the outcome is the same as a non functioning penis. There is still the mental struggle of destroying your healthy penis for an implant. Sometimes I wish it was the result of an accident or something, the decision would be so much easier.
25 years old. Lifelong (psychogenic?) ED. Can attain erections with viagra+cialis+PT141 but lose arousal randomly during sex with subsequent loss of erection.

Erections are like private jets. I don't have them

It sounds like self prescribing a hip replacement because paracetamol not always work.
Maybe psychological or a little bit of VL. How is going with masturbation?

I stopped masturbating to see if that has any effect, but masturbation is generally also hard—>soft—>hard etc. And it is rarely rock hard, only when coming close to orgasm

Have you consulted a men's sexual urologist? They can run tests to see if it's physical.
Another step may be try Trimix injections.

What tests? I went to a doctor a long time ago and he just said if you get morning erections it’s not physical

A urologist can test for venous leak. That means blood moves out faster than it comes in. Morning erections are not a sign you don't have ED. I still had occasional morning erections just before my implant. Viagra did nothing, injections were hit or miss. However, my morning erections would fade as soon as I woke up enough to do anything about it.
If a doctor tells you morning erections mean it's not physical it's time to see a new doc. That is an excuse to not look into your problem deeper.

Thanks im seeing a doc this week. I’ll go have all the tests but the unfortunate truth is that unless I have some very specific problem which can be helped, implant is probably in the future.

Does your erection depend on your position? Is it harder when you sit or stand rather than when you're in your back?
22 y.o. Chronic pelvic pain i guess and VL after COVID. May-Thurner syndrome? Venous insufficiency? idk...

Yes very much. Back is easiest. Sitting is alright standing I lose it immediately
