Tomorrow is my 4 week anniversary since the IPP. I'm feeling great and have gone back to my workouts - full elliptical machine for cardio and light weights - avoiding anything which strains the lower body for now. 95% of the swelling and bruising is gone. I can feel the pump just fine, but have not started pumping. My next checkup in Oct 30 at which I should learn to use it and then have a functional bionic penis. Yippee, can't wait.
The only isue I have remaining is the tubing seems to protrude outward in my upper scrotum. Doc had said that was bruising, but I think it is the tubing placement as it is hard and seems to go to the pump.
The pump placement is great, but has anyone esle had an issue with the tubing placement? Can it me manipulated out of the way?

My tubing was very obtrusive at your stage. the tube that crosses right under my penis is barely noticeable now but it protruded a lot at the beginning. In fact all the tubing seems to be behaving, I have an AUS which has a pump and another set of tubing which I wondered at the beginning if it would get used to the pumbing and I did. So don't worry about the tubes, I think they should lay down in a few months.
Good luck on getting pumped up in a few weeks. It will probably be a little painful the first couple of times.

Knotreel - thanks for you comments. I also have the AUS on my right side. That pump is small compared to the IPP pump. I'll ask the Doc next week about the tubing relaxing over time as you suggested. Also, I only have one tube as due to scaring, he could not put the second one in. So this is going to be interesting.
I am amazed at how large the AMS700LGX pump is, but it is nice and low and easy to find. I can easily feel the bulb and the deflate botton. Just waiting to get my "learners permit" to test drive it next week!!!

Steve,
Good to hear you are doing well. A week, two weeks -- eternities. It is now two weeks till my surgery. Now that the garage is fixed, maybe the uro can drive one of those implants in so I can work on getting a "learners permit" and so on.
Good luck and hard times.
David

Steve, since I was having both implants done at one time my doctor said he was going to tattoo me, come one side and go on the other. When I woke up, first thing I saw was what looked like a pyramid with a tube coming out the top, OK must be my penis, then a looking further to my relief, no tattoos. Besides, was he going to spell it cum? what colors would he use, lots of questions.
My AUS was done by Dr. T Boone at methodist and Dr.L Lipschultz (Baylor) collaborated with the IPP. Both were excellent, great guys!
